Got my new kits today just before going to Toycon 2011 at SM Megamall. Got myself here some rare SD Archive kits. So rare that the boxes I got are really old. I also ordered a 1/100 Nix Providence and my very first Gouf which is not only a custom, but also a Gravity Front Version or aka MS Igloo.

Just want to share to you guys our latest haul for today. Got here a pre-owned limited edition MG Zeta Karaba version, a pre-owned MG Zeta plus C1, an unbuilt PG 00 Raiser and a few more old school 1/144 kits (to complete the old school line up). Among them, the Zeta Karaba version is the most rare. But when it comes to a good buy, the PG 00 Raiser is a lucky find since I got to get a free clear parts set! Not to mention that the 2-way stand is also included.
Hope I could make a review of the kits soon. 🙂

This is a snap fit review of a MG Z’Gok Char Aznable Custom. I am watching Gundam Mobile Suit but I have not yet reached the part where Char pilots this mobile suit. This is a Char custom because there are a lot of Z’Gok but is colored differently, a touch of purple and black to be exact. This is one big kit for an MG. It has a nice bulky build and is very flexible to the point that I made it dance “New York New York”.
By the way, this kit is not mine. I built it per a friend’s request. I actually got 5 more to go.

I do not know how long will this Gundam sale end at Toy Kingdom SM Megamall, but man, it is driving my wallet crazy… We went there, AGAIN… this time to try and get the kits we were not able to get last night because they were almost closed when we got there. There were plenty left, and we did not get all of the remaining ones… We just took what we seemed to like and know.
I was also able to see an SD Char Counter Attack set which is only 800 pesos! wow, I bought mine 1 month ago for 2000 pesos (see post here). Geez, if only I have extra cash to burn… Finally my wallet gave up. I am still to collect more Gundams next week from Coldfire.
What a month this is…

Continue reading Old School Kits Again from Toy Kingdom SM Megamall
I was really overwhelmed by the amount of NEW kits I have today… I spent most of the day going back and forth fetching Gundam kits. It was a bit tiring because I was at SM Megamall and SM Mall Of Asia plus a few more places. But the end result was satisfying… Below is a summary of what happened today:
1. I went to a friend to get some kits namely 5 HG, 4 MG and 1 1/60 non-PG. Went home because there were too many Gundams to carry around.
2. after that, I went to meet someone at SM MOA for a pre-owned Meteor Unit kit.
3. then, I went to my parents’ house to meet a family friend who traded his Metal build ZZ Gundam for my SOC Mazinger Z.
4. When I was able to get back home, I saw a post on the PGBC discussion about new kits at Toy Kingdom which drove me to immediately run to SM Megamall.

Since we were really into scouting old school kits lately, we tried to look for an old school Gundam Epyon… Luckily we found one at Toys R’ Us Robinsons Galleria. It was not on display. It was the only stock left and is in their storage. We also got an SD Strike Freedom to partner our SD Destiny. We also got some Gundam FIGURES. Yes, figures, but not of the Mecha, but the of the pilot. Also, we bought the remaining 2 haro haro coin banks.

I have always liked Haro Haro… That is why me and my GF decided to get any kind of Haro Haro toy we could find. Well we found this Haro toy which is supposedly a coin bank at some Toy store at ETON Cyberpod, Ortigas Center (across Robinsons Galleria) . It is little, about 3.5 inches in diameter. It has its arms out and the flaps opened.
For those who do not know Haro, here is a little history:
The original Haro is a little robot companion built by the main character Amuro Ray. It is a testament to Amuro’s exceptional talent for machines. Haro’s features include a limited range of speech, and the ability to hover (in environments with atmosphere and low gravity) by flapping its appendage coverings. Haro can usually be found rolling behind Amuro’s next door neighbor Frau Bow

Just want to share to you guys some of the kits we got from Toy Kingdom SM MEGAMALL today. It came to our attention that some toys from TK are sold for only 200 pesos only (like an HGUC Gyan) so we tried to see if it was true. There was no mistake about it, and we ended up buying most of the stuff on sale. You can see them below.
We also got our hands on MORE old school kits such as the series 1-5 of Gundam Wing with 1995 as the manufacturing date.

Me and my GF managed to get some old school kits on Toys R’ Us Robinsons Galleria. They are 1986 manufactured Zeta & ZZ Gundams. Well at least thats what the box says. We happened to like old school kits a lot. Its a preference that only a few Gundam collectors share. I am glad I am one of those who cherish old Gundam kits.
I am not a fan of 1/144 kits though. But I will make an exception this time…
