November is finally here! We are just about two months away from our awesome GPH Christmas Party! And to spice things up! GundamPH would like to present to all of you our very own Gunpla contest dubbed as “GPH Builder’s Challenge“. Every member is invited to join the challenge! Time to show those Gunpla Building Skills that you have. Time to share your awesome works to the community. So what are you waiting for? Come and Join!
The aim of the challenge is to entice or fuel the interests of members of the group to participate in Gunpla Related Contests such as this. Not only they are improving their skills, they are also having fun at the same time. We want to show them how cool the hobby can be. ^_^

Today, July 21, 2012 marks the first month since we have established the GundamPH Facebook Group. We currently have 701 members at the time of this writing and we are looking forward to see more people joining the group. The past month has been quite exciting for everyone, it has only been one month yet we felt that the people and the bond we have is already made by years. I must say that GundamPH has succesfully reached its goal to create a place where people can talk about their hobbies without worrying about strict rules. More power to GPH! Keep on sharing the gunpla love and never forget to just enjoy the moment!!!

I have just read a wonderful news today. Enough to make me jump out of bed despite of being sick because of the rain. Anyway, according to a news from a trusted source, Bandai Namco holdings already announced that they are going to build a factory here in the Philippines with the initial purpose of making capsule toys and figures. The company will be named Bandai (Philippines) Inc. and the headquarters will be located at the province of Batangas. Good news for us collectors here in the Philippines!
Just about an hour ago (11:59 pm — August 2, 2012) , thefirst ever contest of the GundamPH Group has officially ended. The contest was a success! The participants enjoyed their campaign and everyone was eager to know the results! We have just finished tallying the results. Our congrats goes to entry #7 by Christian Catinguil who got 1145 likes on his entry “Dash to the Bayo”. But we just didn’t stop at that, the contest sponsor (admin Bry of GPH), offered another prize for the most creative entry. And the most creative entry goes to Rykjem Co and entry “The Gunpla Builder”.
WINNERS will be CONTACTED by the GUNDAMPH ADMINS regarding how to claim their kits ^_^
Voting for the entries of the GundamPH photo sharing contest “Pre-Emptive STRIKE!!!”officially started as soon as the day entered July 31, 2012. It was a fun sight to behold because some of the entries had their votes by the hundreds already in less than an hour. The voting will last till the last stroke of the clock at August 2, 2012. The official contest mechanics for the 2012 Philippine leg of the Gunpla Builders World Cup (GBWC) has already been released by Bankee. The contest will take place or span from October 11 up to 14 at the Mall Main Atrium of Robinsons Magnolia Aurora Blvd. Quezon City. I wonder who will represent our country this year? Yesterday, July 21, 2012, we decided to launch the official Facebook group of Gundam Philippines. We noticed the increase in reader activity in the offical GPH Page. Therefore, the FB group was created so that readers who are actively participating in the GundamPH page can interact faster and easier as compared to the “FB Page version”. Since yesterday, already 240+ members have joined and are still counting. We are hoping more could join and share their collections, questions, ideas and friendship. What are you waiting for?
