I frequently get asked this question. What are the 1/60 scale Gundam kits and figures out there that I know of? Well I could only name a few that I have sought after since 2011. I like big kits, so I made some effort to find them 1/60 scale kits even though they are not Perfect grades because they are not made into PGs which in fact makes them hard to find because they are not produced regularly or is already out of production. As far as I know, there are the HGEX (high grade EX), some MSIA (mobile suit in action), HY2M (hyper hybrid model glorious series)) and lastly a Lightning edition (strike with LEDs). Better to show photos than just names. So without further ado, on to the items.

In case you are wondering, you can get Gunpla or Gundam Navigation Catalogs by buying Gundam model kits from Toys R Us or Toy Kingdom branches. New Year is just a couple of hours away. So before the year ends, we made a survey regarding the TOP TEN Master Grade kits our members like. All the existing MG kits are taken into consideration. Everyone was allowed to enter their choices. And we would like to present their Top 10 MG kits list for 2012.
Saw them from a page in Facebook which I frequently visit. The album is named Gundam Fix Box… wonder if they were used for the box art of some of the Gundam Fix Figuration figures? Anyway, its too cool not to share. So hopefully you can enjoy the pictures as much as I did. Some of them will look nice when blown up, framed and put up on a wall. I am putting them here so in the future I can look back at them and make that display on the wall hahaha!
I have just finished watching the promotional video of the 10th RG (Real Grade) model kit which is Zeta Gundam. So EXCLUDING the limited edition RG kits, we now have 10 regular release RG kits. I am guessing that there will be another one before the year 2012 closes. I made some screencaps of the promo video in case you just want to see the photos or the list of the 10 RG kits. Way back in the start of the 90’s, Sunrise made their first attempt to introduce the Gundam franchise to the United States. The Gundam series we now know were a little bit too much for the young viewers of that time (think: Gundam 0079 and etc). Because of that, the concept of the DOOZY BOTS was born. It incorporated everything American in concept like football stars, hockey players, cheerleaders and a token black guy. It was supposed to be released in the Fall of the year 1991, but thank God that it was not released and only the trailer now exists. Are you not happy that the first series we came to know was Gundam Wing???

I just noticed that there has only been one MS Gundam Girl on the Armor Girls Project line by Bandai. Those that came after it were mostly from Infinite Stratos and Strike Witches. But I think I remember seeing the MS Gundam Girl Dendrobium before. The question is when? When and what Gundam Mobile Suit are they going to produce next? So I looked around the net and saw some possible candidates or maybe an inspiration as to what we may wish to be the next AGP Gundam Girl.
The Gunpla Tokyo Gundam Museum in Diver City Tokyo (Odaiba) is now open. I don’t know the exact date it opened, but I am pretty sure it was just recent (maybe just this April). This is one of the places I would like to visit if ever I managed to go in Japan (how I wish). I think I would have so much geek-asm when I see all the Gundam kits displayed there. Yesterday, before the New Year arrived, we asked a question about what is the story behind “you” being hooked into Gunpla. I started by telling my own story and then slowly, our fellow Gundam collectors shared their own stories. Just wanted to share to you some of those stories and hopefully in return we hope to hear your story too. This is in tagalog so I am really sorry to our foreign readers.
