Well today we are not going to feature just a kit… Today, we are going to feature a very passionate Gunpla Collector that I personally know. His name is Gibe Lindayag (a.k.a LOTUR as some of his friends know him). He is the founder of the group “PinoyGundam” which I happened to be a member of back when I was still starting with toy collecting myself. We share the same belief that Gundam Collecting (or any particular toy in that matter) should be fun and worry-free. He also loves to share to other people the stuff he has. I haven’t personally seen his collection, but damn, just looking at the photos are enough to conclude that he has A LOT! ^_^
We got here another kit here coming from Alex that we really want to share. This is his GN-X customized into one bad-ass Sacred-Monk-themed mecha! I really love the color scheme and the tons of tiny details that he added. I personally like a monk inspired mobile suit since it reminds me of my character in Diablo 3, well without the beard, but it does have the beads and the spear. Kudos to this guy and his art. Looking forward to more of his works. For now, we enjoy the photos ^__^
One of our member in the Gundam Philippines Facebook Group namely Alex Gervacio created this customized RX-78 GP03s Gundam. He dubbed it “GPH Custom”dedicated to the Facebook group we love so much. I really like how the colors turned out. The mix of orange, silver, black and white all turned out very nicely. Mind you that Alex is just new to the hobby but his works are already one of my favorites. To Alex, thanks for dedicating this kit to the group. Keep on sharing the gunpla love bro! ^__^
I am really fond of “kit and figure bash” customs like this one. I think this is a bash between a Figma Miku Hatsune: Append ver! and a 1/144 Freedom Gundam Model kit. This one is modeled by “nm17090922“. I also loved the touch of pink/magenta as the highlights. Really compliments the Girl figure that was used. Nice work overall!
I really don’t know who created this awesome looking Trans-Am Quan[T]. Whoever you are, kudos for making such an awesome paint job on the MG Quan[T]. Now for those who does not know, this mobile suit is piloted by Setsuna F. Seiei on the OVA of the Gundam 00 series namely “Awakening of the Trailblazer”. Only MG Quan[T] was not given the trans-am treatment. So through someone’s effort, we are able to see what the model kit looks like in trans-am mode. If you happen to know who created this, please let us know so we could update the post.
Well here is something we do not usually see everyday. We have here an Afro Samurai inspiredcustomized Gundam model kit called “Jin-N0#2” as created by Alex Gervacio (a member of the GPH group). I was really impressed with the creativity placed on the kit and became interested to know more about this Jinno character since I am not familiar with the anime series (now I want to watch it since it looks really cool). The Jinno character AFAIK is a samurai with the head of a teddy bear. Thus, the customized kit as you can see. Loved the kit and the details. Hoping to see more of Alex’s work in the future. 🙂
Ever wondered what the Batman Tumbler would look like as a Transformer? Well think no more! A guy named Speedlee already created this 11 inch high Transformers Batman Tumbler. He mentioned that it was a commissioned job for a client who went to visit Singapore, so I am guessing the dude is from there. Anyway, he used parts from the Leader Class Iron Hide, a Batman Tumbler, some Gundam Parts and misc stuff to kit bash this artwork. First attempt of it’s kind, very amusing to see this one. Kudos to the modeler and looking forward to his other works ^_^
Today is May 13, 2012 – Mother’s Day celebration and I would like to greet all the superMOMs out there! So I created a greeting card out of the Girlie Pink RX-78-2 Gundam. This Lady Gundam was customized by a Taiwanese fan. Seems like he used a lot of scrapbook material such as gems and laces. This Gundam looks more like RX-78-2’s Mother so I chose it for the greeting card. ^__^ Happy Mother’s Day once again! cheers!!!
Just want to share to you the only SD Arios Gundam that I know of… Unfortunately there is no Bandai SD Arios Gundam… Damn you Bandai for making only Setsuna’s MS and 0-Gundam as SD kits and forgetting about the other protagonists of 00 Gundam Series! Anyway this was scratch built by Ambitious (as my research tells me). Mind you that though it was scratch built, it can transform to jet-rider mode! Haha, I wish that one day, Bandai will make SD kits of other Celestial Being suits…
Can’t help but to make two consecutive posts about ColdfireGundam’s stuff. But he just posted this yesterday and I think it is worth sharing for our Metal Build Gundam fans out there. This is actually an MG 00 Raiser painted to look like the Metal Build version. Oh yeah, I was fooled the first time to think it was the metal build, then I noticed that the stand was different and there were LEDs – LOL… Very nicely done, first time I have seen this attempt on the an MG 00 Raiser… Enjoy looking at the pictures! ^_^
