The next Bandai – Tamashii Metal Build Gundam has been announced. It seems that Destiny Gundam will be next in line in the MB series. We were hoping something like a Trans-Am exia or maybe Quan[t]. But it seems they will take advantage of the frame design used by MB Freedom. Well we cannot deny that Bandai really loves the Seed series more than anything else haha! So I guess we will be expecting the usual 8-9k price range, and it will be released this December 2013. Do not know yet if this is an exclusive or not….

Model Comprehend (MC) is going to release this cutie of an SD really soon dubbed as “MC SD Hi Nu Gundoom“. Finally, somebody massed produced an SD Hi-NU Gundam. This thing here got lots of accessories, a stand and the best of them all is the wings of light! haha, I am a sucker for WOL. Pre-orders here in the Philippines are now open for some private sellers and toy shops. But I think, 168 Mall at Divisoria will be the first thing that comes in mind when talking about 3rd party kits.

The news is that early this June, Model Comprehend will release their version of an SD Deep Striker Gundam. Following their naming convention, this will be called SD Deep Striker Gundoom. Bandai does not have their version of an SD Deep Striker. The only version of SD Deep Striker that we have in the past years is the resin kit version (read here). I am glad that MC made a mass produced version of the resin kit, turned it into a model kit that you can easily snap together. I have the resin kit version so I may be able to compare them together once I get my hands on this MC model version…

From the same company again Kings-Toyland which made the Knight Gundam conversion kit comes their latest product – 1/100 Versal Knight Gundam Resin Conversion Kit. This is actually still a prototype. No price yet whatsoever has been mentioned. But hoping it would be the same price as their full armor version that Coldfire is selling for 2850 pesos. Like the ones before it, this may need the inner-frame of either MG Wing ver Ka or MG Wing Zero Custom. The armor on the shoulders reminds me of Shin Musha Gundam ^_^ I am not really familiar with the background of Knight Gundam as to why he has these different modes (basic, full armor and versal). Maybe I should take some time to research about that. Below are the pictures for your viewing

Below are pictures of a 1/100 Knight Gundam Full Armor Mode Resin Conversion Kit manufactured by a company called Kings-Toyland. It seems that the company is base off in China. Anyway, the resin kit needs the inner-frame of either the MG Wing Gundam ver Ka or the MG Wing Zero Custom. The package contains 103 pieces of resin conversion parts. Initially released at 220USD back in December 2011, but the price now is lower. Coldfire Gundam is selling them for the price of 2850 pesos. Just recently learned about the existence of this resin conversion kit that is why I want to share the info to you guys.

Just came across this GOGO model Sazabi from a friend’s album in FB (thanks Oni). I did a little research and it seems that this version is only a 1/144 scale. I was really hoping for a 1/100 version of this since GOGO has already started with the Hi-Nu Evo. But it seems that the original resin kit where this was derived from (made by Studio Reckless) was of 1/144 scale as well. Below are pictures of the “supposedly” GOGO Sazabi prototype and some of the pictures of the original resin cast when painted for comparison purposes only. Enjoy ^_^

This coming May 2012, (MC) Model Comprehend Model is going to release their new product which is an SD ACG (short for Action Comic Game) release dubbed as the DRAGON FIGHTER. The kit is more likely related to the “Ryuujinmaru” of Wataru Ikusabe from the series Mashin Hero Wataru (aka Dragon Warrior Wataru). The first batch is a special release featuring some cool items like a lightning sword effect, electroplated yellow parts (now gold) and the a blue transparent stand (still need to confirm the stand but it seems to be included in the first batch). Prices here in the Philippines are expected to be between 700 to 1000 pesos though I am leaning towards the 1k php price (you know what I mean). Pictures are below for you to see ^__^

I would like to share some nice Metal Build Freedom review pictures I found on the internet. We have second thoughts whether to buy this figure or not due to some of the issues we have heard such as the bad paint job and the chance to receive broken pieces. The quality assurance on the MB Freedom may not be as good as the first MB which was the MB 00 Raiser, but it seems that it is still a nice buy after looking at these pictures. I am not sure where to credit these photos, but I think it is owned by Hacchaka. Enjoy viewing the photos!
