Remember the post about the work in progressGMG 1/100 Sazabi Formania Resin Conversion Kit? Now it is finally complete and ready for pre-order. Price seems to be around $330 without shipping costs. It specifically needs the MG 1/100 Char’s Zaku version 2 frame according to the source of the pictures (a guy from indonesia). And shipping date will be around June 2012. I want to emphasize that this is a resin conversion kit. Aside from the need of another frame, it also needs a paint job. Most likely it will come in your regular resin cast color which is beige. I own a Bandai Formania Sazabi myself, and I could say that this resin kit was indeed done well! Good job GMG!
This is the MG Unicorn Banshee Ver Ka Final Battle Box Art. Being a version Ka (Katoki), it follows the same box arts as the previous Ver Ka releases. But this time, what they did was they removed the color (“desaturated” if you are familiar with photoshop). Its just like a black and white box with a big BANSHEE stamped in the middle.
Check out this cool clear colored full burst stands made for 1/144 and SD model kits. This is not made by Bandai and I do not know the exact brand name. Probably this will be the same price as the Sinanju Sleeves logo base which was sold at 150 pesos at Divisoria 168 Mall. Saw the pictures from Hobbymate, so I think it will not be long till we see this in the local market. I think the yellow, red and blue colors will be popular choices when this comes out.
Local sellers have already announced their prices for the upcoming release of the MG 1/100 Blitz Gundam (GAT-X207). It will be released this coming June 2012 at Japan for the price of ¥4200. Luckily price range here in the Philippines is around 2000 pesos only. We are really excited for the release of this kit. Long have we waited for an MG version of Blitz Gundam! Expect the kits to land on your local hobby shops either late June or early July. Below are pictures of the prototype as displayed on the 2012 Tokyo International Anime Fair.
Here are some upcoming Gundam AGE Model Kits as displayed on the 2012 Tokyo International Anime Fair. Among the Gundam AGE kits displayed there, two of them caught my attention. Namely Vagan mobile suit FARSIA (pink mobile suit from season 1) and Gundam AGE-3 Normal which looks ZZ Double Zeta Gundam. There is also the Shaldoll (green suit) and Adele (blue suit). I am not sure if the Gundam Age-2 Double Bullet (with red cannons) is already out, but he is there as well in case you missed the news. You can check the pictures below.
Gundam Modelling Generation or GMG is currently in the process of creating a 1/100 Sazabi Formania Version Conversion kit. Formania is series of Bandai that showcases highly detailed figures. And the most popular among that series is the Formania Sazabi which was a bust display model that is around the 1/48 scale I think… Anyway, GMG wishes to put that amount of detail in a 1/100 model kit. Since this is a conversion kit, most probably you will need the MG 1/100 Sazabi frame. Hopefully we could hear news once the resin conversion casts are available.
Posted below are pictures from another source stating the possible problems that we might encounter once we buy the Regulation Center (RC) 1/100 Nightingale kit. It turns out that my fears are indeed correct. It seems that RC quality is similar to GHD kit quality (GHD is a KO gundam kit brand). Oh well, it seems that I will wait and see those who already pre-ordered the kit to see what will their reactions be. There was no mention by the way about the metal thrusters, but pictures from samueldecal tells that they were nicely done.
(pictures have Chinese explanation… I hope someone could translate for us…)
Just want to share to you some pictures of the upcoming SD Gundam AGE-2 model Kit. Unlike the SD Gundam AGE-1 that comes with 3 forms, the Gundam AGE-2 comes only with 2 forms namely the Normal form & Double Bullet form. It seems to come with its own display stand to showcase the unequipped armor. This will be released on May 2012 and price would be around 1000 yen.

Always been a fan of Shin Musha Gundam that is why we are really happy to hear that a new SD version of it will come out soon. There has been several versions of the SD Shin Musha Gundam, but most of them were small and was released only in Japan. But now they are going to release a revamped version. About time I must say, fans have been clamoring about this for a long time. It really looks good on the photos and I feel that it will look good in person as well. 🙂
