The BB #370 SD Legend Knight Gundam will be released late April, 2012. Some sellers have already opened pre-order slots. They are selling it between the price of 500 – 600 pesos. We are eagerly awaiting for its release since the previous versions of the SD Legend Knight Gundam model kits were not satisfactory. I hope that this release will get better treatment. Anyway, it looks really good on photos, I hope it is the same when we get our hands on it. Looking forward to review this kit and add it to our collection.
A friend of mine collated this simple list of upcoming Gundam model kits for the year 2012. I am posting it here with his permission so that everyone else can know. Included are the dates and prices (in Japanese Yen) from January to June for each kit. Just multiply the yen price with 0.55 to get the equivalent in Peso. But do take note of shipping costs, so the end price would “roughly” be —- (price in yen * 0.55) + shipping cost
I am really looking forward to the Wing Gundam Girl and Dendrobium Girl versions of these Cute Girls in Mecha Suits. There are 5 of them all in all. I only know that two will be released soon. One this March (Infinite Stratos) and the other one this coming May (Wing Gundam). I think this line will sell like hot pancakes. That is why one must get his hands on these as soon as possible. haha!
Official pictures of the Armor Girls Project Mobile Suit Girl Gundam Wing EW (Kai) has been released (thanks to Gunjap). So finally we have an expected release date which is this coming May 2012. Price will be around 5,040 yen or less than 3000 pesos. Figure is made of ABS/PVC material and will stand at about the height of 140mm or 5.5 inches. I hope our local sellers will open the pre-order for this Gundam Girl Figure soon. ^_^
MC (Model Comprehend) is going to release yet another kit called ANAKLUSMOS. This ANAKLUSMOS seems to be an original from MC Model. It looks like a turtle, not turtle as turtle but a really BADASS TURTLE MECHA! Kit is said to be released between late February 2012 up to mid of March 2012 and we are looking at the price of around 1000 pesos for this model kit. It looks like a 1/100 scale, but we are guessing that it will still be around the 1/120 scale that (MC) Model Comprehend is known for. Anyway, if you are going to ship this guy, expect a weight of around 1.2 to 1.4 kg. Check out the photos below!
A lot of people were excited when BANDAIannounced that they are going to release an MG version of Gundam Unicorn BANSHEE (though some were disappointed because they have bought the HG release already hehe). In fact two versions will be released. First is the OVA version (gold psychoframe) and then the Ver Ka aka Final Battle (blue-green psychoframe). Now what is the difference of the two aside from the color? Here is what we know so far based on widespread rumors…

I was planning to get the 1/48 Megasize AGE-1 Normal, and I still haven’t decided yet. But now I think I should buy it because BANDAI has already shown its Mega Size 1/48 Gundam AGE-2 Normal model kit. Bandai is all out on their Gundam AGE line. Kit releases for that line are really fast. Anyway, this one stands around the height of 38 cm or roughly 15 inches. Pretty big especially with those wings. Now I am really excited. Maybe I will get both once the AGE-2 Normal is officially released so I could compare them side by side.

This Regulation Center (RC) 1/100 Nightingale (gundam) snap-fit-assembly model kit is hoped to be released by the end of January 2012, so in short, Pinoys will be able to get their hands on it by February first week (optimal). Some private sellers here in the Philippines have already opened up pre-orders for this one for the price of 3900 to 4100 pesos (check Coldfire). Thanks to the official Regulation Center website, we can now have a chance to see some of the pictures of the awaited kit. Take note that this model kit is still being debated whether it is a bootleg or not. I really do not care that much, I feel sorry for Bandai for not making their own 1/100 Nightingale. Thanks to RC for releasing a snap-fit-assembly version of this kit and providing us metal thrusters as bonus. Looking forward to compare this with the Neograde version that I will soon have.

Here is a sneak preview of the 1/100 Nightingale Box made by Regulation Center aka RC. Yes, it is not MC, but RC. As you can see, the box is quite big. It is like a PG box. Honestly I am surprised to see it’s size. I wonder how big is my Neograde 1/100 Nightingale box? I will try to compare the two kits when I have them both in my hands. Saw this one posted on a forum I frequently go to. We have here a sneak preview of Gundam AGE-2 Normal mode. Well basically we can already take a look on the box art of the 1/144 scale model kit. The mobile suit reminds me of none other than GUNDAM Wing. Well, this is the first transformable MSGundam that can transform into waverider mode that I have seen for the Gundam AGE Series. I am sure we will hear some uproar or maybe praises from the Gundam Wing fans this time ^_^
