A lot of people were excited when BANDAI announced that they are going to release an MG version of Gundam Unicorn BANSHEE (though some were disappointed because they have bought the HG release already hehe). In fact two versions will be released. First is the OVA version (gold psychoframe) and then the Ver Ka aka Final Battle (blue-green psychoframe). Now what is the difference of the two aside from the color? Here is what we know so far based on widespread rumors…

the MG 1/100 Gundam Unicorn BANSHEE OVA

– has a yellow/gold psychoframe

– has the Armed Armor VN and Armed Armor BS (left hand and right hand arsenal)

– price is expected to be around 2800 pesos (plus/minus) (available thru coldfire)

– March 2012 release

the MG 1/100 Gundam Unicorn BANSHEE Ver Ka (Final Battle version)

– LIMITED release by Bandai Pro Hobby Online Shop

– has a blue/green psychoframe

– DOESN’T have the Armed Armor VN and Armed Armor BS (left hand and right hand arsenal)
pretty much the same as the white unicorn’s arsenal

– appears to have a different finish (special finish)

– people are assuming that it has an LED lighting effect (2nd photo below shows glowing psychoframe) – a friend told me that the glowing frame means that it has a coating that reacts highly to BLACKlight

– pre-order is now available between 4700 – 5300 pesos (available thru coldfire and GTO)

– March 2012 release???
