Just want to feature one of our known local seller ‘s Gunpla Collection. Today we are going to show you Coldfire Gundam’s personal Gunpla Gallery. I know that being a seller of Gunpla, you must probably be a collector of what you sell to some degree. It was just amazing to know that CF was also into customizing his kits. So he was more engaged in the hobby than I have imagined. He got some cool stuff that might interest you. And it was quite obvious how much he loved WZC. Also that Glow in the Dark powder he is selling seems to be very interesting… Posted the pictures here with his consent. Enjoy ^_^
Here is something that caught my eye once again… this is a custom painted MG RX 178 Gundam Mk-II dubbed as the Elle Vianno Custom which was modeled by Kouichi. I saw this on Gunjap’s page and it really inspired me since one of these days I am going to use that same color scheme on another Gundam. Pink, White, Grey and some Gold highlights went together well with this kit. The color scheme is very similar to the Zeta Karaba model kit version. Anyway, I enjoyed the photo and I hope you enjoy them too! ^_^
Saw this nicely Custom Painted PG 00 Raiser which was modeled by Suny Buny. Unfortunately I do know know the original blog where this was taken. Saw this on GG’s blog and he did not gave the origin. Anyway, I am posting it here so that it will be easy to check again as reference to future paint builds. What I loved about this build is the addition of the gold details in the frame. It was nicely placed and carefully thought of. Oh well, hope you enjoy looking at the pics! ^_^
Here is a little something from Katsumi Kawaguchi. This is his custom painted metallic HG 1/144 Zeydra from the series Gundam AGE Season 2. This can be an inspiration to those aspiring to join the upcoming 2012 Gundam Model Kit Contestsince I would assume that a lot of participants will be newcomers and they are required to use Gundam Age kits. For those who does not know Katsumi Kawaguchi, he is one of the best professional Gunpla modelers around. Let us now take a look at his recent work.
I only have a few SD Sangokuden kits since I only like a few of them. But when I saw this EPIC SD Sangokuden Diorama made by Hobbyco, I begun to like some more of them SD Sangokuden kits. Anyway, I do not know the details, but I will just let the pictures speak for themselves. It was taken from Gundam Exhibit in Australia as far as I know. This might be a good idea to do when you have lots of SD Gundams to display. ^_^
This was shared on one of the Gundam groups I frequently visit. It seems to be a Stealth Version of an MG 1/100 Gundam Astray Red Frame made by Suny Club (as implied on the water mark). Stealth because the color scheme resembles a NINJA. I really like this one since Astray Red Frame looks like a Samurai. So the color scheme and the character seamlessly meld together. I am posting it here so others could see. Source site was in Chinese (I think)
I am really a fan of Gundam model kits with seriously cool light-up effects! And this one is another one of those I like. They (m2studio) lighted up this 1/1700 scale Gundam White Base using LED and clear plastic sheets. It is really a nice mod and I admire such work. I am adding these to our featured model kits so everyone could see. You can visit the site which is in Japanese by following the link below. Good day and have fun reading! ^_^
I am sorry for posting two consecutive articles about MSIA Dendrobium, but I just felt that I must share this MSIA Dendrobium as well. I really loved the custom painted colors that they did on this one! The orange and blue colors really compliment each other nice. Also the pre-shading was great too. And the GP03 figure included now looks awesome! This MSIA Dendrobium is owned by “Gundam EFSF“, I think he is Chinese. He happened to see our post and he shared his work too. He mentioned on his blog that he commissioned someone to do the painting. And indeed his hired modeler is good ^_^ Because of this we are excited to paint our MSIA Dendrobium too.
