Gibe “LOTUR” Lindayag’s Gundam Army

Well today we are not going to feature just a kit… Today, we are going to feature a very passionate Gunpla Collector that I personally know. His name is Gibe Lindayag (a.k.a LOTUR as some of his friends know him). He is the founder of the group “PinoyGundam” which I happened to be a member of back when I was still starting with toy collecting myself. We share the same belief that Gundam Collecting  (or any particular toy in that matter) should be fun and worry-free. He also loves to share to other people the stuff he has. I haven’t personally seen his collection, but damn, just looking at the photos are enough to conclude that he has A LOT! ^_^

GN-X: Sacred Monk Custom by AAG

We got here another kit here coming from Alex that we really want to share. This is his GN-X customized into one bad-ass Sacred-Monk-themed mecha! I really love the color scheme and the tons of  tiny details that he added. I personally like a monk inspired mobile suit since it reminds me of my character in Diablo 3, well without the beard, but it does have the beads and the spear. Kudos to this guy and his art. Looking forward to more of his works. For now, we enjoy the photos  ^__^

SD Gundam Online (Capsule Fighter) Heavy Arms Custom | Review | Unboxing

It has been a while since we opened up an SDGO figure. This time we will do an unboxing review of the SD Gundam Online (Capsule Fighter) Heavy Arms Custom. We are fans of the Gundam Wing Series  so we really like that SD figures like this one exists. In case you are not aware, SDGO Figures are based on the old SD Archive series by Bandai as well. They are bigger than SD Gunpla Kits and they are made of plastic and rubber. You will also notice that this figures have screws mostly at the back area. Articulation is limited but not much of a problem. They are deformed (hence SD) so expect little movement. Ok then, let us proceed with the unboxing.

HGUC Kshatriya Pearl Clear (Green) Binder Ver. Unboxing Pictures

Below are pictures of the unboxing of  Bandai Hobby Online Shop Exclusive: HGUC 1/144 Kshatriya Pearl Clear Binder Version. The name says it is pearl clear. Perhaps because almost all the non-clear pieces have a metallic finish into it unlike the regular version that is just plain plastic. It does have some pieces (mainly the white ones) that has some sparkly finish unto it. Our overall impression in the kit is – “awesome”. I really suggest getting this one since I think it will work fine (perhaps glow) under a black light

Some stuff that we managed to find. Below are Softbank 945SHG ver GP30th RX-78-2 Gundam, SDX Full Armor Knight Gundam and last but not the least – HGUC Pearl Clear Version Kshatriya. Among the 3 of them, we are very much excited about the Pearl Clear Kshatriya. We are trying to complete the clear kits of the Unicorn Series (re: Theatrical version). Anyway, as usual, we are looking forward to review these goodies here.

Gundam Key Chain | Photos & Size Comparison

I happened to stumble upon our Gundam Key Chain collection while I was dusting the cabinet bottom. So I thought why not take some pictures and  share them to you guys. We have a bunch of these Gundam Key Chains that came from different sources. Some are still packed, while others are already dirty because they have been displayed in the store shelves. Anyway, I had fun taking photos of these mini Gundams. I plan to remove the chains to have something that looks like a Gundam Converge figure because the bigger ones remind me of them. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did.  ^_^

Resident Evil 6 Special Pack | PS3 | Unboxing Review | Jacket & Shirt | Philippines

Just want to share to you an unboxing review of the Resident Evil 6 Special Pack (with Biohazard Jacket and free T-shirt). This set was made available by Datablitz. I was looking for information around the internet, and it seems that I can safely assume that it is only a release made specifically for the Philippines. Please correct me if I am wrong, I can’t find information that it is available in other countries. They have their own versions. In fact, Japan and Europe releases are very different from what we have here (theirs was way better). Anyway, not really a big fan of the Resident Evil franchise, but this RE6 will be our first RE game in PS3. Last time we played was during the PSX era (RE3 Nemesis) so its a big jump for us. Aside from the jacket and t-shirt, we also got a free poster and paper bag LOL.

Borderlands 2 Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition | PS3 | Review | Unboxing

Again this is not Gundam or another toy figure. But we really like to share what is inside. So today we are going to have an unboxing review of this Borderlands 2 Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition. This is the biggest collector’s edition box set of Borderlands 2 that you can buy. Heck, I think this is the biggest (in terms of size) that is released for this year 2012. The highlight of this set are the replica loot chest, a metal case for the game, the artbook and a marcus bobblehead. But you get a lot of other stuff as well like the cloth map, creature chart, stickers, postcards, sir hammerlock’s notes and a nice certificate as proof of authenticity that you own a limited item set. Without further ado, let us begin with the unboxing…. ^_^

Tekken Tag 2 Asia Prestige Edition | PS3 | Unboxing Review

Well, this is not Gundam related. But who doesn’t know about Tekken right? Just want to share to you an unboxing review of the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 – Asia Prestige Edition for PS3. As the name implies, this awesome set was specially made for the Asian market. This one was ordered from Datablitz and costed around 3500 pesos. The regular Pre-order is around 2000 pesos. So for an additional 1500 pesos, you will get all the special stuff inside (listed below) which is all wrapped in a nicely crafted leather-skinned box. It will not help you in playing the game, but it surely is a nice display in your cabinet if you are into collecting stuff. By the way, the box set is really heavy, in fact, we were surprised the first time we lifted it.
