HG 1/144 Tieren Taozi | Gundam 00 | Review

Bought this kit months back because of the fact that it was PINK! Finally, we were able to have time to build it. So here is our little review of the HG 1/144 Tieren Taozi Gundam kit. This mobile suit was piloted by Soma Peries on the series Gundam 00. This kit really stands out on the 00 series because of it’s color. Sadly there is no 1/100 version of this. Fortunately, this 1/144 version was nicely done by Bandai. The articulation though not that dynamic is good for my taste. Also the color separations, plastic quality, polycaps and gimmicks makes the kit worthwhile. Definitely needs painting, but I believe the stickers will do well…

New Haul: 1/60 HY2M Glorious Series Rick Dom and Gouf, MSIA DX Sazabi & More

Finally! Got our hands on a couple of 1/60 HY2M Glorious Series — Rick Dom and Gouf. We also received a brand new MSIA DX 12″ Sazabi. Got 2 Char Aznable MG kits as well namely Zaku 2 and Z’gok. And of course, the cute SD Kshatriya… There goes our savings… Hahaha! Correct me if I am wrong, but we think that the “HY2M Glorious Series” is not as popular as the mainstream Kits. Sadly only a few people collect them considering that these edition of Gundams are awesome. You can compare it to the “Gundam Collection” series or even some old school “HCM Pro” figures… The kits appeal only to some people (that includes us haha). Anyway, we are really excited to open them! I guess the MSIA DX Sazabi will go first since it is a toy figure. Half kit and half toy actually because I saw that there are some runners (about 5 I think) which needs to be built. Well, this is a happy weekend indeed 🙂 Looking forward to post a review soon 🙂

MG The-O (PMX-003) | Gundam Review | OOB Build

Today we are going to feature a review of the MG 1/100 The-O from the series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. You know – the big yellow mobile suit with extra arms under it’s front skirt armor? Haha! Well, There is only one word for this kit – HUMONGOUS! Also, unfortunately, the price is also “humongous” that is why a lot of people hated the kit on a “quality versus price” argument. But I got this kit for 4000 pesos only. It stands about 10 inches high and is wider than MG Sazabi (another big kit). The internals are not so bad at all. And all I can say is that it was all worth it especially if you are a Zeta fan. 🙂

1/144 HG Pink Bearguy | Gundam Expo Limited Edition | Review | OOB Build

We finally decided to build the 1/144 HG Pink Bearguy Gundam Expo Limited Edition we got a few months back. So here we have an OOB build review. All we could say is that this is one really nice kit. A charm for GIRLS indeed… A nice idea to have your GF or Wife into Gunpla Building. Pink really looks good on Bear Guy!!! Well I give a 10/10 for an HG kit this cute! Got only two of this Pink Bearguy kit. Now that we have seen it built, we are thinking about building the other one (the box with the autographs that we bought during the MAC meet).  I think I might have strayed too much… Let us move on with the review shall we? 🙂

1/144 Devil Gundam Final Form | Review | OOB Build

Due to popular demand, I now present to you a 1/144 Devil Gundam out of the box build review. This kit when built is as tall as a regular 1/100 scale Gundam. Sadly being a no grade 1/144 kit, it is nothing but a hollow shell, inside there are only polycaps. Still, I give it a 8/10 rating. The Devil Gundam 144 scale model kit was known to be a rare kit because it has been discontinued for a very long time. But I guess Bandai does reward its fans in many ways — why??? It seems obvious that a re-issue of this kit has been made. Thanks to Bandai OR if ever somebody did hoard the kits and released them recently :). I heard that when it first came out it was only 350 pesos or something like that. When it became rare, prices could reach up to 2500 pesos. But this time we were able to get it for an average price of 850.

1/144 Devil Gundam (2nd box) and Next WIP Update

Got our 2nd box of 1/144 Devil Gundam today. You may ask why two kits? Well, we are going to build the first one, and then keep the 2nd box unbuilt. Spiderbeef (you know her right?) really loves the “G” Gundam and Wing Gundam series so much that is why when we had the chance to get this Devil Gundam, we decided to get one for each of us. After making this post I will start building the 1/144 Devil Gundam… To be followed by one of the PINK Bear Guys as soon as I finish. Looking forward to reviewing two rare kits consecutively.

New Haul: 1/144 Devil Gundam (1st box) & Mr Hobby Char’s Red Bottle Paint

Our package from Ninong’s Gundam Shop have arrived earlier this evening. Inside were our first box of 1/144 Devil Gundam and 1 bottle of Mr. Hobby Char’s Red Paint. I think everybody will agree that the 144 scale Devil Gundam is a rare find. But tell you what, during the past few weeks, a LOT, as in a lot of this Devil Gundam kits are sold on online shops and by private sellers. Because it was gone for so long that everybody wants one! Some who were able to get it early even made a bidding/auction system to sell it, but ended up losing the bidders because a lot of the kit is available elsewhere for the collectors to buy.

Gundam AGE-2 & AGE-3 Leaked Images?

Gundam Guy posted this pictures of what is supposedly leaked images of the evolutions AGE-2 and AGE-3 of the upcoming series Gundam AGE. Well I must say that I both like and disliked it. I liked it because the AGE-2 and AGE-3 Gundams are really awesome looking when compared to the AGE-1. But disliked it as well because it seems that a lot of designs were just taken from other Gundams (or is it just me?). The AGE-2 makes me think of WING Gundam and AGE-3 makes me think of EX-S Gundam haha…  Anyway, this leaked images as they claim makes me want to check out the series more. I am looking forward to this release of Bandai and hope that more awesome kits will come from this series!

MC SD EX-S Gundoom | Model Comprehend | Review | OOB Build

It has been a busy week for me at the office. Well, that does not stop me from building my beloved Gunpla. This time we have an out of the box build review of Model Comprehend SD EX-S Gundoom. This is the latest kit released by Model Comprehend. Bandai does not have a SD EX-S kit so I am glad MC made one. This kit looks like the B-Club/Level F Deep Striker, well without the big gun and tons of boosters of course. Overall I will give the kit 9/10 because I really hated the knee part, it keeps on falling “accidentally” most of the time.

Finally our decals from samuel decal have arrive! It took quite a while though haha! A lot of people are asking questions regarding SamuelDecal.com. That is why we would like to share to everyone our first hand experience in the hope that it may help others. For those of you who do not know samueldecal.com, they customize and sell Gundam decals. They are based on Hong Kong and have been around for quite some time now.

I was really curious about their product so I tried to buy a few decals myself to see how the mail goes from Hong Kong to Philippines 🙂
