Haul: Comic Megaman and Some One Piece Stuff

We must admit, we really love One Piece now… More One Piece stuff keeps coming our way. But what really makes us happy today is the figure in the blue box, namely the D-ARTS Megaman Comic Version which was a Comic-Con release if my memory serves me right. Also, we managed to get POP Megahouse Sogeking Usopp which can be a bit hard to find nowadays with regards to One Piece figures. Also that General Franky by Banpresto was an awesome buy for 900 pesos! All in all a nice day… Hope to open them boxes soon!

PS3 Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection Unboxing Review

We have here an unboxing review of the recently released Metal Gear Solid – The Legacy Collection game for PS3. Hideo Kojima really loves the term Tactical Espionage Action to classify the genre that Metal Gear falls into. This Legacy Set will be beneficial to many MGS fans who wanted to try and play the PSX (as bundled code via PSN classics), PS2 (remastered into HD) and PS3 (till GOP only) versions without having to pay much plus you get a bonus ARTBOOK which contains all the promotional posters made throughout the years of MGS (1987 – 2012). Moving on with the unboxing review

Two Kinds of Model Kit and Figure Collectors (based on their attitude)

We have two kinds of model kit and figure collectors if we are going to base it on their attitudes. Brand aside, there are those who are HAPPY and PASSIONATE, and we also those that are COMPETITIVE and TOO PROUD… So which one are you? Hope this shines some light to some jerks in the community who unknowingly step on the hopes of the incoming (newbie) collectors.

Hot Toys Iron Man 2 – Suit-Up Gantry with Mk IV Review | MMS160 | Unboxing

Finally decided to open one of our Hot Toys figure namely the Iron Man 2 Suit-Up Gantry with Mark IV so we could do a quick review. Well, it was not actually quick because it took me 3 days to finish the photo-set because I keep on messing up the camera settings. Anyway, all I could say is that we really really love this figure! I feel guilty keeping him inside the box because something like this deserves to be displayed. The details of the armor and likeness of the head sculpt to actor Robert Downy Jr.  is just amazing! Bang for buck wise, this is a sure winner! A must have for any Hot Toys collector. A very nice subject for photography as well!

After Hiatus Haul of GPH Crew

The bad thing about stepping into HIATUS mode is that when you come back, you will come back big… Usually that is the case… And that is just what happened to us. When we decided to buy toys again, we ended up buying more than enough. I guess we could blame watching Anime series like One Piece and the movie Iron Man during the off-collection period. Well we got lots of stuff here like the metal build seven sword gundam and prism coating GFF unicorn. Lots of figures as well from Miku to the Straw Hat crew of One Piece. Of course, the review we posted the other day which is the talking Minion. Anyway, like what we always try hard to promise… hope we could review them soon!

Talking Minion Dave Review | ThinkWay Toys

It is the latest craze in the Philippines! These so-called MINIONS of the movie Despicable Me 2 is actually a big hit all over Facebook. Fans both young and old are into collecting them. Well who would not like them Minions, they are funny and cute! Of course, we ourselves are victims of their cuteness. Our review for today will be of Talking Minion Dave made by ThinkWay Toys.  I think this one falls under their ThinkToy line. So the first time we heard about this talking figure, we immediately bought one.  The price on Toys R Us is 2599 pesos, but I heard the lowest is 2300 php.

GPH Crew – Partially Back from Hiatus & Stuff

Everyone knows that the posts from this blog has suddenly stopped about a few months ago. Well that is because we went on a hiatus. I guess every one needs a little bit of a time off for themselves. Also, there came a point that politics in toy collecting already affected us. Shame, because you get crucified in spite your wish to help others. Anyhow! Now we are partially back everyone!! By PARTIAL, we mean that we will not be as active as before but would try our best to post updates. We have quite a busy schedule outside the community and to be frank, choosing between the blog and our work, we will choose the latter since our work feeds our hobby and also supports the maintenance cost of this blog (web hosting wise). It is not easy to run a blog, it is time consuming and you get criticized a lot… But heck! It makes us happy to share to the community especially that we know it helps others.

Kaiyodo Danboard Cardboard Assembling Kit | Review | Big Scale

Everybody loves Danboard. We are no exception to that. That is why we are happy to present this assembly review of Kaiyodo’s Big Scale Danboard. This version is the biggest build-it-yourself Danboard around. However, even though it is big, it is made out only of cardboard material held together by crafty folding and some plastic screws. Some glue or adhesive is required! It is about 14.5 inches high and roughly more than 12 inches wide.  It was not as easy to build as it looks. There were some parts that need some thought processing. Anyway, this is a must have for Yotsuba fans. This is best partnered with the Big Scale Yotsuba. So I advise to get them both! Special thanks to Hubbyte Toy Store for the special discount we got for this cutie!

Mini Tyrael | BlizzCon 2011 | SideShow Souvenir Collectible | Review

We have here an unboxing review of a Mini Tyrael figure. This is a BlizzCon 2011 Souvenir Collectible. It seems to be produced by Sideshow collectible specifically for that big event. You can only get it if you attended the particular convention. However, we were fortunate enough to find one sold  locally. Anyone who played Diablo will immediately know who this ICONIC angel character is. A very cute desktop buddy if you might ask me. A must have for a Diablo player or fan.
