We weren’t supposed to buy some toys earlier, but due to some unexpected events, we were drawn into getting some. This is our first time to buy Final Fantasy Trading Arts mini figures. And I must say that those MINIs are worth the buy if you are an FFF (Final Fantasy Fan). Hmmm.. what else? ah… we were able to score a PKAI of Halo’s hero — Master Chief which is sort of in demand right now among Play Arts Kai collectors thus it is a bit hard to find. Well, again, hope we can find some time to make a review of them soon. Need to sleep.. Zzzzzzz… Ciao!
We know that it is a very bad sign for us to get hooked with the anime that we are watching. Why??? Getting hooked means you will get interested in whatever merchandise regarding the anime is out there which leads you to spend money or go into an impulsive shopping spree! Damn right! So here is the result of watching Gurren Lagann and Danball Senki W (LBX). To top that, we are also getting engaged in buying D-Arts Rockman (Megaman) figures. Baaah! we are happy, it is just that the wallet is crying… Back to eating instant noodles again… T_T
They said it was a meteor that fell down in Russia… But I think it was just Heero Yuy blasting some secret government facility with his Wing Zero Custom Gundam hahaha! Just for laughs guys! On a serious note, is this a prelude to the coming of the apocalypse? Are aliens coming? Japan, better make sure that 1:1 scale RX-78-2 is working fine! ^_^
Yep, we are indeed out for a couple of weeks. Been busy with lots and lots of stuff from work and personal life. We actually decided to take a small break from anything related with toys but there is a saying that once a collector is always a collector. So here we are with what we consider an expensive haul since every one of them are 1/6 scale HOT TOYS collectibles. We already have the Iron Man MK IV with Gantry and we intend to skip MK III. So I guess it means that we are sort of complete with our Hot Toys Iron Man line. ^_^
This has been a hot debate for quite some time now. In our hobby which is collecting stuff, we always get ridiculed for buying collectibles referred by most people as TOYS. The usual defense mechanism or response that we say is that what we collect are SCALE MODELS or perhaps ADULT COLLECTIBLES and not some cheap toys meant for children 10 yrs old and below. But I wonder what one thinks to stop them from thinking if their collection should be classified as toys? Well, the ANSWER IS SUBJECTIVE and is influenced by CULTURE and SELF EGO. But generally speaking, people, we are buying and collecting TOYS! Yes! Stop frowning, they are!
We have here an unboxing review of SDGO Wing Gundam Zero Endless Waltz Toy Figure. If you will notice, the name is now corrected. Before we all know this character to be Wing Zero Custom Gundam, but according to Bandai, that was a translation error. SDGO figures are made to represent the Capsule Fighter Online Game. These figures looks the same as the old SD Archive figures but only better. Well now, despite the lack of articulation, I really enjoyed reviewing this figure. I had a hard time trying to re-create the buster shooting pose. Anyway, overall, this was worth the money especially if you are a Gundam Wing Series fan!
We have here a “rare color variation” of the SD Gundam Online Capsule Fighters figure. Instead of having the regular full colored regular version, we have the DEACTIVED mode version of Launcher & Sword Strike Gundam. Only the first few releases of the SDGO toy figure line by Bandai has the rare color variation versions. In case you don’t know SDGO figures looks the same as the old and hard to find SD Archive figures. Same with other SDGO figures, this Launcher and Sword Strike Gundam has very limited articulation. But nevertheless it is an overall great figure. Bigger than your SD kits and smaller than 1/144 kit. Seed fans will enjoy this super deformed figure. ^_^
Putting the Gunpla Navigation Catalog 2012 scans here in case some of you guys don’t have a copy. Roughly 44 pages including the covers. Hope this helps! In case you are wondering, you can get Gunpla or Gundam Navigation Catalogs by buying Gundam model kits from Toys R Us or Toy Kingdom branches. Sorry for the poor image quality, need to lower down the file size for portability purposes. ^_^
New Year is just a couple of hours away. So before the year ends, we made a survey regarding the TOP TEN Master Grade kits our members like. All the existing MG kits are taken into consideration. Everyone was allowed to enter their choices. And we would like to present their Top 10 MG kits list for 2012.
We have here an unboxing and straight build review of the Kotobukiya 1/144 scale DYGENGUAR! It was released December 2008 and I believe some online stores still sell this kit. Several words comes into mind upon seeing the size of its box and the size of the finished kit as well. Words such as behemoth, huge, gigantic, awesome and manly are some of the appropriate one-liners you can say upon seeing this 1/144 scale kit. We literally fell in love with Dygenguar even though we barely know the background story. All we know is that Dygenguar is part of the Super Robot Wars series “Dynamic General Guardian” (basically the longer version of the name Dygenguar). We really love this kit that is why we gave it a 10/10 rating. A must have for those collecting SRW model kits!
