I am sorry for posting two consecutive articles about MSIA Dendrobium, but I just felt that I must share this MSIA Dendrobium as well. I really loved the custom painted colors that they did on this one! The orange and blue colors really compliment each other nice. Also the pre-shading was great too. And the GP03 figure included now looks awesome! This MSIA Dendrobium is owned by “Gundam EFSF“, I think he is Chinese. He happened to see our post and he shared his work too. He mentioned on his blog that he commissioned someone to do the painting. And indeed his hired modeler is good ^_^ Because of this we are excited to paint our MSIA Dendrobium too.
What we are going to review today is the MSIA Dendrobium RX-78GP03. This mobile armor came from the Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory series. This toy figure was released by Bandai in the market on the year 2001 for around 10,000 yen. This is the second largest Dendrobium (around 1/172 scale) that you will get next to the HG 1/144 version. It is around 750mm or 29.5 inches when completely built. Has a lot of movable parts, easy to build and weighs a hefty 4-5 kilos I think. Most of the time, items this old have some form of discoloration due to old age. But still, big MSIA figures are hard to find nowadays, so if you find one get it and just rehab the discoloration.
Saw this one posted on a forum I frequently go to. We have here a sneak preview of Gundam AGE-2 Normal mode. Well basically we can already take a look on the box art of the 1/144 scale model kit. The mobile suit reminds me of none other than GUNDAM Wing. Well, this is the first transformable MSGundam that can transform into waverider mode that I have seen for the Gundam AGE Series. I am sure we will hear some uproar or maybe praises from the Gundam Wing fans this time ^_^
According to Gunjap, release date is January next year (2012) for the price of 1500 yen
We have here an out of the box build review of Master Grade (MG) Sandrock Endless Waltz (EW) version. This Mobile Suit came from the series Gundam Wing and was piloted by Quatre Raberba Winner. Moving on to our review… Based on what we experienced, we are really satisfied with this kit. Buying it is worth every peso, we bought it for 1800 pesos and it was all worth it. The plastic quality is good, in fact when the kit was finished, it felt like it could withstand a 3 feet drop haha. MG Sandrock’s engineering was superb, knee joints, shoulder joints and the waist skirts where the parts we liked the most. We were pushing it to do dynamic poses and it seems to do well. Overall we give it a rating of 10 out of 10 (we really loved the heat shotel effect).
AGE Episode 10 “D-Day” is now available! Bandai is really firing up the pace on Gundam AGE. I think about 10 more episodes and this AGE-1 will be over. Anyway, in this episode, battleship Diva together with the forces of Zalam and Euba engaged a head on battle with UE forces. This time, UE has brought along one of their battleship (an orange colored squid-like-shaped ship) to attack. Fortunately, the new form of Gundam called SPALLOW made it in time to help defeat Zedas who was already overwhelming Diva’s troops in battle. Before the series ends, Desil was shown to be in pain of defeat. It seems that Flit was correct that Zedas was indeed piloted by Desil.

The photo below (although a bit dark) shows Blitz Gundam in what seems to be a sinister pose. It is like he is saying “your end is near” to his enemy. Or as if he was going to perform a sneak attack. Additionally, the photo has a wallpaper quality into it. Looking forward to more shares by Alvin!
After our first HK ordering experience with SamuelDecal.com, we decided to give ordering stuff from Hong Kong another try. This time we ordered an SD Wing Gundam Commemorative Edition from an EBAY store called “GundamProShop“. We bought it for $10.49 and paid $9.99 for the AIR MAIL shipping to the Philippines. The auction ended last September 5, 2011. We were able to send payment the same day using a credit card. According to the stamp on the package, the item was sent last September 15, 2011. Now, the funny and sad part is that we waited 3 MONTHS (almost) for this package to arrive *SIGH*. The claim card from Quezon city post office arrived just last week (December 1, 2011) with the note “URGENT”. I think perhaps the kit arrived here in the Philippines mid of November. And as usual, it took them 15 days to deliver us the claim card. LOL again at the 3 months waiting time.

AGE Episode 9 “Secret Mobile Suit” is now available! In this episode, Flit, Woolf and the rest of the gang went to visit Madorna’s Factory. Of course they were really amazed and surprised with all they have seen. But one thing surely made an impression, they saw UE‘s Zedas among the mobile suits. Shortly after that, Zedas activated and began wrecking havoc. Flit and Woolf engaged the new UE suit in a fierce battle.
The “6th Christmas Toy Fair” and “1st Philippine Die Cast & Custom Car Show” will be held on December 16, 2011 at Megatrade Hall 1 at SM Megamall. This is a 3 day even running from 10am to 9am each day. This is you chance to buy some toys, action figures and possibly some Gundam model kits. But I do not guarantee the Gundam kits since nothing was mentioned about it. For our Gundam Modelers, this is an opportunity to get some inspiration from Car Painting since the methodologies in painting Gundams and Toy Cars are the same.
