Got here some hauls that made it before the New Year! We have here the MG Strike Freedom Wings Effects (WOL aka Wings of Light), Yotsuba DX Summer Vacation, Nendoroid Black Rock Shooter & multipurpose Seed Backpack Connector. Got the wings and connector from ColdFire, then the BRS and Yotsuba came from Hubbyte Toys located at ETON. The BRS and Yotsuba was a gift from my GF (sweet). Here are the pictures for your reference. Looking forward to review these items!
Today we are going to review some NERF Blasters namely the STAMPEDE and RAIDER. These NERF Blasters have been ON SALE for a couple of months now on almost all Toys R’ Us and Toy Kingdom branches. I never really wanted to buy one, but I have been told that this is the best time to purchase one since the dart-bullet system blasters are already in the process of being phased-out and the fact that they are sold at half the price (50% discount) makes it more interesting. So my office mates and I went to the nearest TK and TRU branches. The MAVERICK was the first NERF I was able to try, so being a lazy boy who want to just press the trigger, I went looking for the VULCAN model but it was sold-out. So I ended up with the STAMPEDE, while my GF bought the RAIDER and my officemate bought the RECON.

13th week for our POTW series 🙂
This week (though 13th) is a very special one. Today is Christmas week and the last week of the year. In line with this, we would like to present to you some of the notable pictures belonging in our flicker group. They are really good, it is just that we only need 1 per week and we are trying to promote each member’s photo as much as possible, so we ended up not being able to show some of this good shares from our fellow Gundam collectors.
In no particular order, here are the pictures. Our 2011 last week’s featured photos!
Here is a sneak preview of the 1/100 Nightingale Box made by Regulation Center aka RC. Yes, it is not MC, but RC. As you can see, the box is quite big. It is like a PG box. Honestly I am surprised to see it’s size. I wonder how big is my Neograde 1/100 Nightingale box? I will try to compare the two kits when I have them both in my hands. For now, feel free to put your comments and reactions below. Again, Merry Christmas to all of you!
Today is December 23, 2011. Just 2 more days before the most awaited holiday of the year arrives! In line with that, we would like to take this opportunity to greet everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! We hope that all your Gundam and Gunpla wishes came true already. If it has not, then don’t lose hope! Who knows, it might be that big box under your Christmas tree or perhaps your love ones are planning to surprise you by giving your gift when you least expect it! Haha! I already got mine… How about you? What did you get for Christmas???Share it with us!
HUGE! That is the first thing that you will notice with the box and the head display itself. This was only released in Japan, you can only get it if you win the top prize in the 7/11 Gundam Raffle. If I remember it correctly, it was 900 yen per try. Gundam Unicorn fans will surely love this Banpresto Gundam Unicorn Head Display. Among the hauls last week, this one is one of the boxes we were excited to open. Because of it’s size, we were thinking that it might be around the 1/25 to 1/30 scale. But I am thinking 1/27 is the exact scale. Anyway, it can change from the Normal mode to the Destroy mode, depends on how you want to display it. Initially it is packed in the Destroy mode. Colors are nice, glossy and seems to be made of good quality paint. Plastic quality is very typical of Banpresto brand but good quality if you ask me. Lastly… Awesomeness level – 10/10! I really love the play and display value of this head display!
We were able to get our hands on a GN Sword IV Full Saber (BTF brand colored resin kit) for the MG 1/100 Quan[T]. Not much information can be gathered about BTF Conversion Kits. But we think BTF stands for Butterfly as implied by their logo. Anyway, the great thing about this resin kit is that it is already colored cast and you can have it built just by snap-fitting the parts together. It goes for around 1600 pesos and stocks are very low. In fact, we ordered from two sources just to make sure we get one. Without further ado, let us now proceed with the unboxing review
BOX
Compared to SD Astray Red Frame. It is bigger than your 1/144 box.

12th week for our POTW series 🙂
The picture below is owned by a member of our GPH Pool — Micheal Ong. He is quite the photographer if you check out his photo-stream. He really likes to consider backgrounds and the environment to add more drama to his pictures which is something I personally appreciate. I hope to see more from him in the future ^_^
Gundam AGE Episode 11 “Reunion at Minsry” is now available! Grodek, Flit, Wolf and the others went to meet with Birmings (who was Don’s friend) during their stay in Minsry Colony. Birmings’ help is essential in Grodek’s plan to defeat the UE that is why they came in the first place. Also, a new character appears, a detective-like character (similar to inspector of Lupin III) of the Federation whose goal is to capture Grodek who is now declared a mutineer. But the most important and exciting highlight of this series is the reunion of Flit and Yurin. This time they get to spend some time together! I really like Yurin! Suck at that Emily! Not much action here but the turn of events are really interesting to watch! Oh BTW Grodek smiled on this episode! hahaha
Just like everyone else, we also have our very own Gundam Christmas Haul! haha! Included in this batch are some Soul Of Chogokin Zeta Gundams, some head display bases, some SD archive figures, a 7/11 HG set, some C3Hobby kits, some old 1/60 kits and a lot of SD Gundam kits. Hopefully we could review some of them before the year ends. I think I will start off the SD Archives and the Head Displays. Since we are already talking about Christmas, we would like to greet everyone an ADVANCE MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! May all your Gunpla wishes come true this December!
