15th week for our POTW series 🙂
It was really hard choosing which to feature so we decided to give those we have pre-selected their own spotlight (one by one).
The picture below is owned by a member of our GPH Pool — higoukii. He is a new member of the Flickr group and his first share is this custom colored MG Quan[T] which in my opinion looks really nice! Hope to see more cool photos from him.
Gundam AGE Episode 13 “Space Fortress Ambat” is now available! The Diva, Zalam and Euba have already arrived at Space Fortress Ambat. This time DIVA transforms into an assault mode which looked similar to the Spaceship Argama of the Zeta series. Their new weapon called Photon Cannon changed the outcome of the battle. Before the series end, Madorna appears in what seems to be a RED Shaldoll accompanied by many GREEN Shaldolls. Also, it seems that Desil will engage them in battle in the next episode.
Hi everyone! We have here an unboxing review of MSIA Devil Gundam First Form (aka Ultimate Form or Original Form) from the popular series G Gundam. This Devil Gundam is considered to be one of the many holy-grail Gundam figures ever released by Bandai. It is considered such because it is old (released 2002) and hard to find (rare). We found one that is still sealed inside the box though we paid a hefty amount to get it. But being brand new makes the price worthwhile. MSIA figures are considered to be in the scale of 1/172 (roughly) so it should be smaller than 1/144 kits. You will see later when you check out the size comparison with other Gundam models. Moving on with the review…
This Regulation Center (RC) 1/100 Nightingale (gundam) snap-fit-assembly model kit is hoped to be released by the end of January 2012, so in short, Pinoys will be able to get their hands on it by February first week (optimal). Some private sellers here in the Philippines have already opened up pre-orders for this one for the price of 3900 to 4100 pesos (check Coldfire). Thanks to the official Regulation Center website, we can now have a chance to see some of the pictures of the awaited kit. Take note that this model kit is still being debated whether it is a bootleg or not. I really do not care that much, I feel sorry for Bandai for not making their own 1/100 Nightingale. Thanks to RC for releasing a snap-fit-assembly version of this kit and providing us metal thrusters as bonus. Looking forward to compare this with the Neograde version that I will soon have.

release price:
375 Chinese Yuan
60 US Dollars
2600 Philippine Peso
So plus shipping and some taxes…. Hmmm… I think 3600 pesos to 4000 pesos is justifiable…
Gundam AGE Episode 12 “Course for Counterattack” is now available! Grodek and the Diva prepares to launch to set sail to attack the UE space fortress located in Ambat, but was attacked by a Federation fleet lead by a guy named Guavaran. In the middle of their battle, the UE forces attacked making it into a 3 way battle. Luckily the Federation fleet sided with the Diva and defeated the attacking UE forces. During the battle with the UE, Flit realized that he has special abilities similar to people referred to as X-rounders. The series ends showing Desil attempting to abduct Yurin in the Birmings house.

14th week for our POTW series and our first for 2012! 🙂
The picture below is owned by a member of our GPH Pool — SlasherX13. Well no doubt this is a really nice picture to greet the coming of 2012 – Happy New Year! Red Frame and New Year seems to be a perfect match! Perfect timing as well – Thanks again SlasherX13!
Yesterday, before the New Year arrived, we asked a question about what is the story behind “you” being hooked into Gunpla. I started by telling my own story and then slowly, our fellow Gundam collectors shared their own stories. Just wanted to share to you some of those stories and hopefully in return we hope to hear your story too. This is in tagalog so I am really sorry to our foreign readers. This is a jump start for the new year ahead (an inspiration perhaps hehe). Happy New Year! and more Gunpla to all of us! haha! I am happy that we share this great hobby. Happy reading! ^_^ Continue reading How Did Your Gundam Hobby Start? What hooked you into Gunpla?→
I am really a fan of Gundam model kits with seriously cool light-up effects! And this one is another one of those I like. They (m2studio) lighted up this 1/1700 scale Gundam White Base using LED and clear plastic sheets. It is really a nice mod and I admire such work. I am adding these to our featured model kits so everyone could see. You can visit the site which is in Japanese by following the link below. Good day and have fun reading! ^_^
This RX-78-2 Gundam Head Display (coin bank) which we are going to unbox and review is amazingly huge! I said that because it is as big as a human head (literally). And do take note that this one has lights and sounds when you insert a coin which adds to the coolness factor LOL. I bet this makes saving coin a lot more fun hehe. I really could not find enough info about this one. Though the only thing I know (which I hope is right) is that this was part of the 7/11 promo last year (2010 top raffle prize). Because this year it was the Unicorn Head Display which was released. I think making this kind of Gundam Head Displays is an annual thing. Without further ado, let us move on with the review.
I was unable to sleep last night (technically early this morning) that I went to my computer and decided to check out NERF mods for my NERF Stampede. I found something about removing the Air Restrictor (AR), sealing plunger hole, adjusting O-rings, changing springs and using higher voltage batteries. Well, since I can not sleep, I decided to bring out my tools and try some of the modifications myself. It took me around 2 hours of messing around my NERF Stampede, and boy I was satisfied with the results. Stampede has a normal range of 20 (+/-) feet. Now mine has around 32-35 feet range (parallel to ground firing). That is around 12-15 feet increase in range. ^_^
