Got here an unbuilt Kotobukiya SRW OG Huckebein Boxer (RTX-011AMB). The box has some minor dents but that does not really matter since this was released way back December 2006 for around the price of 7000 Yen. Not really familiar with the SRW OG (super robot wars original generation) series but we can’t really passed up this cool looking mecha. We fell in love with it the first we knew that such kit existed… plus it kinda looks like a cat (our fave pet) LOL
We have here an unboxing review of HG 1/144 scale 00 Gundam Seven SwordG Inspection Color (C3xHobby Exclusive 2010). This 00 Gundam 7-Sword version comes with a RED action base 3 and the mobile suit itself has a RED color scheme. Got this from an auction in Ebay for around 2000 pesos (I think it was about a month ago). It is basically the same as your regular HG 7-sword with a red color scheme and some freebies.
We have here an almost complete set of the Limited Model High Grade Evangelion kits. What is missing is #10 which is the EVA-05 Mass Production Model Final Version (looks similar to #8). But in place of the one we are still looking for, we got an EVA-01 Type F AFC Experiment (Bandai Movie Realization) instead. Posting it here so that if someone likes to collect these LM-HG kits themselves, they will have an idea what the boxes look like. These LM-HG kits are around 25cm tall when built (accdg to HLJ), but we are soon to verify that once we start the review. Pictures are below for your reference.
Additional kits for the month courtesy of WLT. Got here 3 HG 1/144 ANA limited version kits – 00 Raiser, RX-78-2 and UnicornGundam. Plus we have a MegaSize version of RX-78-2 as well. For those who does not know, ANA short for “All Nippon Airways” is an airline company in Japan. They are using blue as their main company color that is why ANA version kits are themed in color blue. Among the ANA kits, the MegaSize version is the only one without a special titanium finish-like coating. The 3 HG kits are all special coated. The HG ANA Unicorn is the most sought after among the 3.
Got some new stuff here namely a 1/60 scale Lightning Edition Freedom Gundam, HG GM Striker, HG Zaku Sniper and a Zeon Mobile Scout Set. The term Lightning Edition for the Freedom Gundam does not relate to thunderbolts but rather because the kit has LED light up effects mostly on the gold parts of the body. I am yet to see how bright the light-up gimmicks are. On the other hand, I am not sure but I think the oldest model (in terms of production date) among the 4 kits is the Zeon Scout Set. I first saw the mobile scout vehicle on the Gundam 0079 series wherein a group of Zeon soldiers successfully placed bombs on RX-78-2 by flying around and confusing Amuro. That is all! Looking forward to build these kits. ^_^
This is the first Armored Core kit that we have purchased. Always been a fan of Armored Core ever since I played it on Playstation 1 back in high school. Unfortunately, I was not able to have a PS2 and PS3 so that ended my Armored Core experience temporarily. Moving on… This movie color version release includes the White Glint and Vanguard Over Boost together in one box (because they are two separate kits). The white parts are created with a pearl gloss finish that is really pleasing to the eyes. No I am not talking MG WZC Pearl… This one is different as will be shown later on the pictures. So let us open the box shall we!
We went to Divisoria earlier to visit Tommy’s toy store at Pasilyo 1V at 168 Mall to get the recently released MC Model Anaklusmos and some other stuff that would catch our attention. Well, we eventually went home with four items namely MC Anaklusmos (1300php), Nu Gundoom HWS (1000php), Gogo-TTH Hi-Nu Evo (1600php) & Sleeves Action Base (150php). I saw a lot of people there buying the Daban brand MG Epyon too. Anyway, just so you guys know, the Pasilyo 1N stall of Tommy is now closed, they are operating only at Pasilyo 1V. Hoping to start either the MC Anaklusmos or the Hi-Nu Evo review soon…
Just thought we’d share some of the SD Gundam Wing Series kits that we have acquired in the past few months. It was quite an effort to find some of them since most of the SD kits in the Gundam Wing Series are either out of production or hard to find in the Philippines. But we have a strong feeling that Bandai re-issued some of the Gundam Wing kits a month ago since a lot of sellers are opening slots for orders of these kits. The kit we like the most in this post is the SD Wing Gundam Commemorative edition which was released around the year 2000. The newest kit is the SD Wing EW version. Will update this post once a new kit comes along….
Nope, this is not the RC version. But hopefully we could get that as well haha. Anyway, this is the 1/100 Nightingale Super-G brand Resin Kit. This one is not colored cast, meaning, it looks yellow and everything needs to be painted. The original cast of this resin was made by Neograde and they called it 1/100 Nightingale Refined Version. I bought it before the news about the 1/100 RC brand came out so I did not have much choice back then what to buy. So now, I hope to compare this to the upcoming mass produced RC version. This is one heavy box since some parts are solid (like an anime figure statue). Photos are below for your reference.
Today we want to present to you some unboxing photos of our new haul namely an SD Deep Striker. This one is a resin kit made by Super-G which means that the kit really needs a paint job (and perhaps some glue-ing of parts). This is the only version of SD Deep Striker that I know. It comes with some metal parts and it has its own stand. Looking forward to work on this kit one of these days.
