We have here something that has been in our storage for quite a long time already… Below is a Banpresto RX-178 Gundam Mk-II TITANS Head Display. Although it says “head display”, it is more likely both a head and bust display (or perhaps I am wrong). Anyway, the scale of this one is 1/60. The Mobile Suit is made out of a rubbery material and the details are all painted. Just for reference, imagine a 1/60 scale RX-178 Mk-II without its arms, backpack, waist and legs. Then place it in an acrylic display case and put something like a miniature view deck haha. There you go, you have a Banpresto head display case! Check out the pictures below ^__^
I have just finished watching the promotional video of the 10th RG (Real Grade) model kit which is Zeta Gundam. So EXCLUDING the limited edition RG kits, we now have 10 regular release RG kits. I am guessing that there will be another one before the year 2012 closes. I made some screencaps of the promo video in case you just want to see the photos or the list of the 10 RG kits. Here is a quick review of the SDGO Sandrock Custom from the popular SD Gundam Online Capsule Fighter Game. Not much accessories coming from this set, but still worth collecting if you are a certified Gundam Wing fan, or if you just love to have the character from the MMORPG. This is the biggest SD figure of Sandrock that I currently know of. The other one which is a model kit is only about 2 inches high while this one is more than 3 inches. Again, SDGO figures are almost the same as the previous SD Archive release. SDGO figures are made of semi rubberized materials, pre-painted, has screws and are bigger than your average SD model kit.
After the viral craze of the RX-78-2 Gundam Style full music video parody, now comes another version. But this time, it is a short clip featuring Zaku Units… and there are lots of Zaku Mobile Suit dancing like humans in this video. Well the video is only about 36 seconds, but it was fun to watch nevertheless. For more information about the original Gangnam Style song, kindly refer to the link posted above.
This is a funny picture I found somewhere… Are those Kamen Riders? (or perhaps Super Sentai?) Anyway, they look likeGuncannon, RX-78-2 and Guntank respectively. Model Comprehend (MC) is going to release this cutie of an SD really soon dubbed as “MC SD Hi Nu Gundoom“. Finally, somebody massed produced an SD Hi-NU Gundam. This thing here got lots of accessories, a stand and the best of them all is the wings of light! haha, I am a sucker for WOL. Pre-orders here in the Philippines are now open for some private sellers and toy shops. But I think, 168 Mall at Divisoria will be the first thing that comes in mind when talking about 3rd party kits.

Today, July 21, 2012 marks the first month since we have established the GundamPH Facebook Group. We currently have 701 members at the time of this writing and we are looking forward to see more people joining the group. The past month has been quite exciting for everyone, it has only been one month yet we felt that the people and the bond we have is already made by years. I must say that GundamPH has succesfully reached its goal to create a place where people can talk about their hobbies without worrying about strict rules. More power to GPH! Keep on sharing the gunpla love and never forget to just enjoy the moment!!!
Posting another set of goodies. We have here some decent kits. The new candidates for review are Dreadnought Gundam (MSV), Jesta Theatrical Ver., Unicorn Destroy mode Theatrical ver., MG Unicorn Banshee Final Battle Version, MG RX-78-2 Titanium finish version, SDGO Sandrock, SDGO Heavy Arms and last but not the least, GFF Metal Composite Psycho Gundam Mk-II. Looking forward to have them reviewed one of these days. ^___^
Haha, we all know bear guy Gundam is sooo cute. Now its nice to see our fave cutie Gundam to be dressed or custom-built like the members of the Avengers namely Thor, Hulk, Captain America and Iron Man. I’ve seen a lot lately due to the release of the Avengers movie. But this set here is nice. Hope to get more pictures from the modeler himself. Presenting (names I made up myself) Thorguy! HulkGuy! CapGuy! and IronGuy! hahah!
