We have here something that has been in our storage for quite a long time already… Below is a Banpresto RX-178 Gundam Mk-II TITANS Head Display. Although it says “head display”, it is more likely both a head and bust display (or perhaps I am wrong). Anyway, the scale of this one is 1/60. The Mobile Suit is made out of a rubbery material and the details are all painted. Just for reference, imagine a 1/60 scale RX-178 Mk-II without its arms, backpack, waist and legs. Then place it in an acrylic display case and put something like a miniature view deck haha. There you go, you have a Banpresto head display case! Check out the pictures below ^__^
there is also an AEUG version
2006 — Made in China
the box can only be opened from top
The case is sandwiched by two plastic shells and is wrapped in plastic
so this is what it looks like when opened
viewed from different angles
Some details on the case
as viewed from top
the clear acrylic cover can be removed which allows you to appreciate more the details
the platform seems to be a miniature view deck
as mentioned, the material used has a rubbery feel into it.
you will also notice that the paint job is quite nice
I said the paint job is nice because of the details on the cheek vents
you can call it a lower version of the bandai formania… as in way lower haha..
