We have here an out of the box build review of MG 1/100 Gundam HeavyArms Endless Waltz (EW) version. HeavyArms is considered one of the most liked mobile suit in the Gundam Wing series because of the amount of fire power it has! We are talking about Rambo(x10) type weapon spam here! Anyway this version was derived from the original design of Katoki Hajime. Meaning, you will see differences when compared to the TV version we all know. Building this kit was really fun, the 1800 pesos price tag was all worth it. Though we just want to comment that the idea for the gatling gun is not entirely original or unique to HeavyArms. Anyway, let us start with the review.
Gundam AGE 2 Episode 23 “The Suspicious Colony” is now available! Lots of interesting things happened in this episode. First is the appearance of the now old Grodek, now free after years in prison. Second, Diva investigates the industrial colony called “Solon City” (techno-solon) which is suspected to cooperate with Vagans. Third is we get to see the Adele in Titus form and see for the first time Adele Gundam’s eye. And last is that Asemu is now using again the double wielding technique which is unique to or should we say Asemu’s real style. Cool episode!
This is the first Armored Core kit that we have purchased. Always been a fan of Armored Core ever since I played it on Playstation 1 back in high school. Unfortunately, I was not able to have a PS2 and PS3 so that ended my Armored Core experience temporarily. Moving on… This movie color version release includes the White Glint and Vanguard Over Boost together in one box (because they are two separate kits). The white parts are created with a pearl gloss finish that is really pleasing to the eyes. No I am not talking MG WZC Pearl… This one is different as will be shown later on the pictures. So let us open the box shall we!
We went to Divisoria earlier to visit Tommy’s toy store at Pasilyo 1V at 168 Mall to get the recently released MC Model Anaklusmos and some other stuff that would catch our attention. Well, we eventually went home with four items namely MC Anaklusmos (1300php), Nu Gundoom HWS (1000php), Gogo-TTH Hi-Nu Evo (1600php) & Sleeves Action Base (150php). I saw a lot of people there buying the Daban brand MG Epyon too. Anyway, just so you guys know, the Pasilyo 1N stall of Tommy is now closed, they are operating only at Pasilyo 1V. Hoping to start either the MC Anaklusmos or the Hi-Nu Evo review soon…
Just thought we’d share some of the SD Gundam Wing Series kits that we have acquired in the past few months. It was quite an effort to find some of them since most of the SD kits in the Gundam Wing Series are either out of production or hard to find in the Philippines. But we have a strong feeling that Bandai re-issued some of the Gundam Wing kits a month ago since a lot of sellers are opening slots for orders of these kits. The kit we like the most in this post is the SD Wing Gundam Commemorative edition which was released around the year 2000. The newest kit is the SD Wing EW version. Will update this post once a new kit comes along….
Gundam Modelling Generation or GMG is currently in the process of creating a 1/100 Sazabi Formania Version Conversion kit. Formania is series of Bandai that showcases highly detailed figures. And the most popular among that series is the Formania Sazabi which was a bust display model that is around the 1/48 scale I think… Anyway, GMG wishes to put that amount of detail in a 1/100 model kit. Since this is a conversion kit, most probably you will need the MG 1/100 Sazabi frame. Hopefully we could hear news once the resin conversion casts are available.
Posted below are pictures from another source stating the possible problems that we might encounter once we buy the Regulation Center (RC) 1/100 Nightingale kit. It turns out that my fears are indeed correct. It seems that RC quality is similar to GHD kit quality (GHD is a KO gundam kit brand). Oh well, it seems that I will wait and see those who already pre-ordered the kit to see what will their reactions be. There was no mention by the way about the metal thrusters, but pictures from samueldecal tells that they were nicely done.
(pictures have Chinese explanation… I hope someone could translate for us…)
Just want to share to you some pictures of the upcoming SD Gundam AGE-2 model Kit. Unlike the SD Gundam AGE-1 that comes with 3 forms, the Gundam AGE-2 comes only with 2 forms namely the Normal form & Double Bullet form. It seems to come with its own display stand to showcase the unequipped armor. This will be released on May 2012 and price would be around 1000 yen.
Today we are going to unbox an RG 1/144 Strike Rouge Gundam. This is not included in the regular RG release since it was part of the Gundam Plamodel EXPO held last year (2011). This RG Strike Rouge is very similar to the RG Aile Strike all except for the girly-pink color. This is our first RG to date so we are curious as to what is inside as well… Now then, let us take a look!
