23rd week for our POTW series 🙂
The picture below is owned by a member of our GPH Pool — drealkulit. He seems to be an SD collector that is why most of his shares are SD model kits. We chose this particular photo because it is “cute”. Haha, well we just decided to pass on the serious ones for now and go for the seemingly happy Gundam. ^_^ Hope to see more shares from him 🙂
Nope, this is not the RC version. But hopefully we could get that as well haha. Anyway, this is the 1/100 Nightingale Super-G brand Resin Kit. This one is not colored cast, meaning, it looks yellow and everything needs to be painted. The original cast of this resin was made by Neograde and they called it 1/100 Nightingale Refined Version. I bought it before the news about the 1/100 RC brand came out so I did not have much choice back then what to buy. So now, I hope to compare this to the upcoming mass produced RC version. This is one heavy box since some parts are solid (like an anime figure statue). Photos are below for your reference.
Gundam AGE Episode 22 “The Big Ring Absolute Defense Line” is now available! The Vagan forces led by Zeheart has already reached The Big Ring Absolute Defense Line. Because of Flit Asuno‘s brilliant tactics, Earth forces were able to contain the X-rounder corps of the Vagan known as the Magicians-8. This forced Zeheart and Desil to come into the battlefield. Flit Asuno came as well, wherein an epic reunion battle follows.
Today we want to present to you some unboxing photos of our new haul namely an SD Deep Striker. This one is a resin kit made by Super-G which means that the kit really needs a paint job (and perhaps some glue-ing of parts). This is the only version of SD Deep Striker that I know. It comes with some metal parts and it has its own stand. Looking forward to work on this kit one of these days.
This is an exciting haul for us. Since we already concluded that Bandai will not make an MG 1/100 Kshatriya anytime soon, we decided to get ourselves a Colored Resin Cast Kit of 1/100 Kshatriya instead. This Colored Resin Kit 1/100 Kshatriya is made by G-System-Best. The box is really heavy and you can still smell a hint of the chemicals used to make the cast. This one comes with METAL parts which was the primary reason I got it. Can’t wait to buy an airbrush so that I could start working on this cool monster!

Hi guys! I know most of you have lots and lots of question about how to paint your Gundams. The terminologies and some other stuffrelated to painting can be quite confusing. But fortunately, one of our members, namely Arashi1118 is lending us his knowledge on how to do some of these stuff. Try to check our his link on our forum, he is building a guide to paiting, much like a course starting from basics. The topic will be constantly updated so stay tuned 🙂
Today we purchased what we commonly refer to as BLACK LIGHT or UV LIGHT. It will be used to enhance by giving artificial glowing effect to the Gundam and/or Toys when we are taking pictures for the review. We purchased the fluorescent type black light since it is the most effective variant and also it was the smallest one available. You can BUY it from Handyman at Robinsons Galleria. We bought it together with a Fluorescent Fixture. It costs around 600+ all in all. We had fun testing all the beam sabers and wing effects of the built Gundams that we have. It seemed to work for some plastic materials and does nothing to others. Anyway, you will see it from the pictures below.
I only have a few SD Sangokuden kits since I only like a few of them. But when I saw this EPIC SD Sangokuden Diorama made by Hobbyco, I begun to like some more of them SD Sangokuden kits. Anyway, I do not know the details, but I will just let the pictures speak for themselves. It was taken from Gundam Exhibit in Australia as far as I know. This might be a good idea to do when you have lots of SD Gundams to display. ^_^
Always been a fan of Shin Musha Gundam that is why we are really happy to hear that a new SD version of it will come out soon. There has been several versions of the SD Shin Musha Gundam, but most of them were small and was released only in Japan. But now they are going to release a revamped version. About time I must say, fans have been clamoring about this for a long time. It really looks good on the photos and I feel that it will look good in person as well. 🙂
