Here is a snap-fit review of SD ZZ Gundam with Mega Rider. Was able to buy it for only 100 pesos at the Toy Kingdom SM Megamallsale a few months back. This is a not so rare kit, you can still find this online or on some other mall toy store like Toy R’ Us. Well about the review, the kit really needs some painting which is very typical of old version SD Kits… The additional armor pieces, the big cannon and the mega rider gimmick was really cool. All in all I have to give this SD ZZ kit a 8/10 rating because of the accessories included. Below are the pictures for your reference.
I have here a out of the box (OOB) buildreview of MG Char Aznable’s Gelgoog. All I can say is that this thing is really awesome. Maybe I am biased when it comes to Char’s MS, but really, this one can make both funny and bad ass poses. Also, it is bigger than your usual MG 1/100 scale kit. Very typical of Char’s mobile suit. Gelgoog kinda reminds me of Rocksteady and Bebop from the Ninja Turtles, but this one has a nice big shield and a Naginata. I have not personally saw this mobile suit from the series, but I am sure I will enjoy watching it fight.
This is a snap-fit build review of SD Gundam F90 Full Equipment. Got this from a sale on Toy Kingdom SM Megamall a few months back. All we could say about this kit is that it needs painting – lot of painting 😦 . Though some of the weapons have metallic color finish that will be OK without modification. It has a lot of parts for its different Gundam F90 forms (4 styles to be exact). An old kit but still easy to find.
Here is a little snap-fit / out of the box buildreview of an old schoolSD Psycho Gundam. Manufacturing date was 1996. It comes with 2 small figures namely Zeta and Rx-178 Mark II. Overall it is a very nice kit! I recommend it if you find one because it is very hard to find one nowadays. I have not come across a new release of SD Psycho Gundam by Bandai. I hope they will re-release another version because this one is already discontinued — a rare kit which I luckily found on Ebay…
Hi everyone! I have here a short review of an out of the box build of MG 1/100 Char’s Rick Dom. All I can say about this kit is that it is BIG! I really love the arsenal of weapons especially the BFC – Big F**kin Cannon! You will see it later. Also, the inner frame details is nice… Shame that most of it is covered by the armor. You will need some armor modification to showcase the nice details of inside. Anyway, let us see the pictures….
I got here a pre-owned1/400 Gundam Collection White Base which is in good condition. A little dusty but all the parts are COMPLETE… Also there were some marking of being exposed to flourescent light but its ok, nothing a little paint job cannot do. I already have an unbuilt Gundam White Base which I bought last month but have not time to start snap fitting it. Glad that I could find another one since this is a discontinued kit. It belongs to the Gundam Collection series.
I also got a 1/144 Shenlong Gundam from the same person. This Shenlong is the one that comes with Wu Fei figure.
This is the second part of our work in progress (slash) review of MG Zeta 2.0 HD Color Version or aka animation color. Well I said on the Part 1 of the MG Zeta 2.0 HD Color review that I will do the continuation on the following day. Unfortunately, we were only able to continue this about a month after that. LOL. Sorry about that, we have been very busy… Anyway, here is the continuation of the review. Everything is done here including some actions shots.
Again this is the HD Color version who has a chogokin like finish to it…
Just want to share to you a work in progress (slash) review of my MG Zeta 2.0 HD Color Version or aka animation color. I am really amazed at the quality of the materials use for this kit. I love the glossy finish and the plastic used. I really would recommend this kit to anyone wanting to buy an MG Zeta. Also, I tried to panel wash it already because of the glossy finish and it worked pretty well. I started out a few hours ago and I am a bit sleepy now so I will continue this tomorrow. I will update this post so we would not be confused seeing multiple post about the same Gundam…
This is a review of my snap-built SD Strike Freedom Gundam, from the popular TV series Gundam Seed Destiny. Got this kit from Toys ‘R Us for 450 PHP – not a bad price for a store owned by Robinsons :). After building the SD Destiny Gundam a few weeks ago, I had to get my hands on its rival. And even though the SD Destiny is a newer release, this one has turned out to be a LOT better.
This is a snap-fit review of the 1/100 Astray Mirage Frame Second Issue. A few days ago, I posted a poll on the facebook page regarding which kit to build and Astray Mirage Frame won. The kit, though only an NG seems to be really good IMHO. Also, I love the psychedelic color scheme. For me Gundam Mirage Frame seems to be a combination of evangelion, transformers and gundam… 3 characters molded into one model kit haha.
Here are some pictures of the kit… It is not very “photogenic”, you really need to see it personally to appreciate.
