We have here an unboxing review of the Metal Build (MB) Trans Am 00-Raiser Gundam. Technically, this is the 3rd Metal Build figure released by Bandai. It was sold at the Tamashii Nation 2011 event and was available only at Japan. This is actually the first MB figure Gundam that we have, so I cannot really compare it to the first 2 MB figs. What made us buy this Trans Am 00 Raiser are the colors used to depict Trans Am mode. IMHO this is the best representation of the Trans-Am mode… It looks so elegant and sophisticated. You can still appreciate the color separation unlike the overly pink trans am that we all know.

*** IMPORTANT***

“This MB Trans AM 00 Raiser figure has a PEARL PURPLE coating all over the figure which was NOT CAPTURED properly by the camera” – you would definitely need to see this one in person to appreciate it more…

The colors are just amazing… the multi-tone effect created by the pearl finish was simply a nice sight to behold. The WHITE PARTS are actually light purple in color.

It changes between blue-purple-pink-frost depending on the angle of the light touching it.

So what really is the Metal part there?

Based what I have seen I would say that this figure is around 30% metal… especially on the joints…

Majority of the inner frame looks like it is made of metal parts…
