We have here an unboxing and building review of the (mobile suit in action) MSIA DX Sazabi 12 inch toy figure/model. I prefer to call this a hybrid between a toy figure and a model kit because some parts are needed to be assembled in order to be used like the shield, weapons and the funnels. This thing is very huge – like a 1/60 version of Sazabi. If not of 1/60 scale, still it is the closest one we got that is Bandai made. Besides most PG kits stands at an average of 12 inches. The MSIA DX series is the biggest scale in the MSIA line up. Unfortunately they are discontinued. Manufacturing dates indicates that they were released in the market wayback the year 2002. If you find one, then I suggest you buy it. Now moving on with the review.

Back of the box

Some features of the toy figure

The box is bigger than most MG kit boxes

UNBOXING
These are the contents
The bundle on the right are the runners and other accessories
A single paged manual is included

I noticed that the rear and side skirt armors are not connected initially
By the way, it is already PRE-PAINTED.

Also, the knee part is bandaged with plastic which I think is to keep them from bending or folding

The rear skirt armor goes there

Side skirt armor markings

ball joint provision for the side skirt armor

Now with the skirt armors attached. 🙂

Now getting the accessories means fighting your way through tons of packaging tape

LOL – maybe just keeping them secure… that’s all…

3 packs
-runners for the funnels and weapons
-shield
-backpack

5 runners in total

BACKPACK
nothing too complicated… you can attached them without looking at the manual 🙂

SHIELD and BEAM Effects

The manual – everything in it… Nothing on the other side haha
