We have here an unboxing and (out of the box) straight build review of Model Comprehend’s Anaklusmos. The complete name of this turtle looking mech model kit is Galaxia 001 [Earth Guardian EX] (ANAKLUSMOS). “Galaxia (Star God of the Universe)” is the name of the 3d animated Chinese series where it came from which looks like a buffet of all things mecha. First kit from MC that is not Gundam related (still debating whether the MC gundam kits are bootlegs or not). Got it for 1300 pesos at Divisoria 168 Mall a few months back. An overall great kit! Just need to be patient since some pieces and parts loves to fall off when changing action pose. Engineering and articulation is similar to Gundam High Grades (HG). -kit looks like an armadillo or turtle when equipped

some nubs marks are located at different to clean areas

CONCLUSION
PROS
1. very articulated for an HG especially on the waist area
2. an original coming from MC
3. packaging style is nice and appealing
4. plastic quality is 95% OK
5 so many action pose to choose from
6. looks big when finished
7. can hold heavy weapons if positioned correctly
CONS
1. some parts love to fall off especially when changing action pose
(I was really pissed when doing the different action pose… armor pieces falling or jumpin, kit tumbles, shield drops, hard to hold, peg joints gets detach from polycaps…etc)
2.no way to hold the huge sword mode
3. a bit flimsy or loose
4. I had trouble making it stand on its own
5. definitely needs the base or pedestal to display it properly or safely
6. hands..they suck (hated those MG wing gundam series type hands)

Nice review!…. have this in a box yet since March, but havent assembled it yet. I was one of those who owned this when it came out. Now I really need to assemble it. (waiting for someone to do a review so I can anticipate what to do….LOLOL!)
How bout the decals sir? havent seen any applied yet. any bother?

haven’t applied the decals yet… need to paint some stuff like the grey parts and some armor but it looks like it will be quite easy to apply since they are water slide decals

impressive kit. somehow it looked like a combination of Gundam Dynames, Exia, and the Tactical Arms from Atray Red/Blue Frame. 😀 coolness!

yuh… most of the features reminds me of the Gundams you mentioned… Have you watched the trailer? It seems Chinese people are getting good with 3D animation as time goes by

Any ideas how to mod the weapon holding hands? Mine keeps detaching themselves from the palm whenever i try to pose with the buster sword. I haven’t topcoated it yet, so I don’t know if that would help strengthen the hands. And I broke one of the clear green connectors in the upper back shield armor, so I’m considering drilling a hole into the broken off part and inserting a brass pin in there.
Otherwise, the kit is really nice. Not that original, but it’s quite the looker. 🙂

haven’t checked out what to do with the hands since the post I chose seems to do the trick… sad to hear that the green part broke… was it the part that is visible or hidden from view? I mean is the broken part covered by another piece?

It was the ball joint that broke off, and I’m still trying to figure out how to insert one end of a pin into it and the other end into the main part, since both are really small – not much room for drilling. As for the hands, I’m considering getting some extra manipulators from my MG kits – the ones from Wing Series MGs are about the same size.

if i may say my opinion…this kit is really cool…finished built mine too…but…its a painful kit to build and to make a pose…patience is the key to this kit…no patience, u will end up breaking them…sorry to say that mine is…unsaveable T^T
