I just bought this Dome Studio the other day and I would like to share to you what it does and how it helps you when taking pictures of your gundams, figures and other stuff which basically fits inside the tent-like dome studio. I was planning to make a DIY lightbox but I found out that I do not have time to do so. So this dome studio fits us people with busy schedules. Also this is easy to store and is pretty portable just like bringing an umbrella. No need to brain storm on how to make a portable light box anymore. Its basically an out of the box solution if you have the budget to spare.

This is how it looks like when opened up. Like I said, it pretty much resembles a camping tent.

A Dome Studio’s primary purpose is to diffuse light. Much like a soft box diffuses your camera’s flash.

Diffused light makes the light reaching your subject subtle and more natural. You can avoid over exposed subjects or burned areas.

 

 

It comes with a detachable & reversible 2 toned clothe/sheet (the gray one – it is white on the other side)

You can choose whether to have a dark or light background for your subjects. If ever you want to use other colors, you can just buy some from the nearest clothe store you like or use cartolinas.

priced at 1450 for the large size…. I think the medium size is priced only at 1250php if I remember it correctly…

got mine from Extreme Deals – Eton Cyberpod Corinthian outlet

but I did see some from a camera shop at Greenhills Virramall at the 3rd floor level with the same price

 

 

it says that it is about 750mm x 750mm x 650mm but upon inspection I noticed that the size is 100mm bigger on each side. So you actually get 850mm.
