We have here an out of the box build review of MG 1/100 Gundam HeavyArms Endless Waltz (EW) version. HeavyArms is considered one of the most liked mobile suit in the Gundam Wing series because of the amount of fire power it has! We are talking about Rambo(x10) type weapon spam here! Anyway this version was derived from the original design of Katoki Hajime. Meaning, you will see differences when compared to the TV version we all know. Building this kit was really fun, the 1800 pesos price tag was all worth it. Though we just want to comment that the idea for the gatling gun is not entirely original or unique to HeavyArms. Anyway, let us start with the review.

Let’s build!
TORSO
Gundam Wing suits are small and compact. See how little space there is around the cockpit
imagine being at the back of a noisy gatling gun… poor Trowa…
HEAD
compared with a 1 peso coin
ARM and SHOULDER
I really hate the fingers included in Gundam Wing kits
They are small and hard to use. This one is no exception
^__________^
WAIST
take note of the missiles on the side and front
LEG UNIT
this is how the inner frame was constructed
feet articulation
foot guard?
legs with and without armor
the missile pack on the legs
^__________^
most of the parts done… a little more…
BACKPACK
breaktime! YAKULT!
how do you open this???
GATLING GUN
Like I mentioned above, this is not an original idea.
It was derived from the gatling gun of RX-78-5 aka Gundam G05
but since this was taken from Katoki’s old designs… It maybe that they decided to use the gatling gun on another gundam so as not to waste effort.
ARMY KNIFE and SHIELD
That completes all of the accessories
HOW TO SOLVE THE FALLING GATLING BELT PROBLEM?
we heard about it, and in fact we experienced it as well as soon as we attached the Gatling Guns to Heavyarms’ hands.
So we devised a simple solution — MASKING TAPE!
just cut a small strip of masking tape and wrap it on the end of the ribbon wire
doing that will ensure that the ribbon won’t slip out or fall off since the masking tape holds the ribbon wire, while giving the clips something to grab on
since the belt was not falling off anymore, it sometimes pulls out the arms out of the socket a few times when doing dynamic poses
handsome little devil!
one last thing… there are some pieces here that can be used to show a beam saber hilt hidden inside one of the arms
I did not bother doing it, but there is the picture below for your reference

MORE PICTURES!
different backgrounds
I tried to take pictures showing the 3 EW kits namely Sandrock, Deathscythe and Heavyarms
But I can not seem to find a nice pose
