I have here a out of the box (OOB) build review of MG Char Aznable’s Gelgoog. All I can say is that this thing is really awesome. Maybe I am biased when it comes to Char’s MS, but really, this one can make both funny and bad ass poses. Also, it is bigger than your usual MG 1/100 scale kit. Very typical of Char’s mobile suit. Gelgoog kinda reminds me of Rocksteady and Bebop from the Ninja Turtles, but this one has a nice big shield and a Naginata. I have not personally saw this mobile suit from the series, but I am sure I will enjoy watching it fight.

Has a replacement fin/horn
TORSO UNIT
Torso can move back and forth

there are two holes to attach the shield
the pink door is for the cockpit
ARM UNIT
Can bend that far
Notice the piston detail? Very nice when painted me thinks….
Arm unit and the Shoulder armor
The shoulder armor has some nice details underneath, I think a little armor modification can help you showcase this nice detail
On the arm, there is a hidden detail which looks like a turbine. Can someone clarify what that is?
You will need to put 2 plate-like pieces for to achieve that accordion like affect on the arm pit
LEG UNIT
Foot has very nice details and can bend around 45 degrees
Can move sideways along with that nice piston detail
Leg articulation is a bit limited
Well at least it has 3 boosters on each leg
You might need to expose some areas, so everybody could see how nice the internal details are

WAIST UNIT
nice details on the inside of side skirts

wow nice review bro as always got my self the MG char ver 2 and The PS2 OYW 1st i thought selling ther other one but i really idolize char so i keep them both same as the 2 MG sazabi and 2 Zeta 3 whiteunicorn.. and i think the legacy of char and amuro is epic! again nice review bro will still wait for the awesome PG GPOFB…

Parang ang odd nung color nung shield compared to the mobile suit. Parang napulot lang niya somewhere. :p Are you planning to do a custom paint job on this sometime?

haha surfboard nga tawag namin imbes shield… nope no plans on a custom paint job… maybe on a regular gelgoog (blue), but not on this char’s gelgoog…
