New Kits: HG Deathscythe Hell, Traded HG Epyon, Rare SD Kits and More

Yesterday was a Sunday and we were at Greenhills Shopping Center looking for Gundams (as usual). Well we did found some rare kits namely an HG 1/100 Deathscythe Hell, SD Jegan, SD Blue Destiny an SD Newtype Mobile Armor. Also I forgot to post an earlier haul. It was an HG 1/100 Epyon which I got by trading my extra built HG 1/100 Heavy Arms Custom last friday. I managed to get another Gundam 2011 Navigation Catalog from Toy Kingdom but this time at Greenhills. Got myself a few bosny primer spray paints as well. I will paint a few kits after this rain stops. Check out the pictures below.

    1. well I guess our preferences are based on location… where are you located sir if it is ok to know? because SD kits especially the old ones are between on a frequent to rare status nowadays. The deathscythe was a surprise actually because we found that at Toy Kingdom. Probably most TK branches has one of that now but still a hard to come by kit.

      1. I’m actually a ‘mam, surprising I know. 😀

I live in a place called Macau, it’s like HK’s brother in a way, most of the model shops here are kinda like “Ma and Pa” shops. Since the currency is weaker than HK by a few decimals our gunpla is also cheaper! What’s great is most Hg kits are under 20$USD and SD kits are usually 4-6USD. It’s great.

      2. sorry bout that ma’am… 🙂 it is nice to know another lady beside my GF that likes gunpla. Would it be a good decision to buy gunpla there if ever I happen to visit Macau?

      3. YES! 🙂
Seeing as it’s cheaper than some HK stores, why not?! You might have to do some hunting for stores though.
But I do not advise you buy at 2 places if you visit, New Yaohan and Toys R Us, way overpriced because they are popular with tourists.

  1. Nice…your using bosny primer paint before you paint the actual color? Or your using it for the Gray color parts of Gundam kits? Which is good with primer or without? Because I use without primer on Bosny paints. Then the details and small parts will be hand painted. I bought a air brush last year but the problem is up to now I dont have any budget for the small compressor. 🙂

    1. I am using it as a primer. Thought this is actually the first time that I will use primers. Most of the time I spray directly on the plastic which seemed ok. Just wanted to try it on with primers to see the effect.

      1. no prob… btw I was able to test this… it made the color which is applied on top a bit darker… meaning if you want to retain the vibrance of the color use white primer base
